It has been only 6 months since Motorola launched  the Moto G6  but the company has already started preparation for its successor. Today, an official render of the Moto G7 was leaked which does align with the previously revealed CAD based renders of the device.

From the render, the Moto G7 comes with a body of glass and aluminium just like the Moto G6. However the traditional 18:9 display is replaced by a taller panel with a waterdrop notch and a smaller chin with no fingerprint sensor in it. The fingerprint scanner will now reside on the company’s logo at the back.

The rear sports the company’s trademark camera model which contains a dual camera setup along with a dual LED flash. The right side contains both the power button and the volume rocker. There is a speaker grill, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom while the top contains a couple of microphones.

Previous leak reveals that the Moto G7 will feature a 6.4 inch display with FHD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with option for further expansion by a microSD card.

In the optics department, the device is rumoured to feature 16MP +5MP rear configuration while offering a 12MP shooter on the front. It will be backed by a 3,000 mAh bttery with Motorola’s Turbo Charging and likely run on Android 9 Pie.

As for its availability, the company has not yet official confirmed but it is expected to released in the first half of 2019 and possibly showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event next year in February. Similar to the Moto G6, the G7 will likely to be accompanied by a Moto G7 Play, Moto G7 Power, Moto G7 Plus.
