Motorola will soon launch its Moto G7 series in the premium mid-range segment. Moto XT1955-4 was certified in Thailand and FCC a few days ago which is supposed to be the Moto G7 Power placed between “Play” and the standard variant. Now, the Moto G7 Power has been certified by the Taiwanese NCC certification agency.
Unfortunately, the NCC certification doesn’t reveal any more new details about the upcoming smartphone. However, it does tell us that the Lenovo-owned company is planning to launch the device in selected markets soon.
From the FCC certification, the handset will feature a 6.22 inch display with HD+ resolution measuring 159 mm x 76 mm with a diagonal of 167 mm. It will be backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery with fast charge support. The Moto G7 Power codenamed “ocean”, is said be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset built on 14nm process. It is reported to come in 2GB, 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage options.
In the optics department, it will sport a single rear camera of 12MP with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash while offering an 8MP with f/2.2 aperture in the front. The device will run the latest stock Android 9 Pie but there is no mention of it being an Android One device anywhere. The handset expected to be available in Indigo, Silver, “Blush” and Black color options. There is also a variant which will come with support from NFC (Near Field Communications).
The company is to yet to announce it officially but we can expect the launch to be around the corner based on these certifications.
