The Lenovo backed Motorola has recently came back into the competition by following up with the latest smartphone trends. Just a while ago, the company launched the Motorola P30 in China which looks alike the iPhone X with a similar sized Notch on top its display, same is the case with the leaked Moto One Power. Now, a few new images have appeared online, showcasing a Moto device with a tear drop shaped Notch, the one that we saw with the recently launched Oppo F9 Pro, R17 and in few other upcoming devices.

The images have been spotted on Weibo, out of which, one image reveals the About Phone section of the dual Sim device which reads out the model number as “Moto G6 Plus“. Now, this is quite surprising as the Moto G6 comes with the regular notch-less display and the previous leaks about the G6 Plus have nowhere mentioned such design language.

Talking about the design, the mysterious Moto phone sports a brick-red colored back with a circular camera module housing the dual cameras along with a dual tone dual LED flash. The dual cameras on this phone won’t be a traditional RGB and monochrome combination which is clearly visible due to the difference in lens sizes. The back also houses the Moto logo which should double up as a fingerprint scanner.

While at the front, the device has a full view display with rounded corners and a tear drop shaped Notch along with minor bezels on top and bottom.

As of now, despite the above phone mentions itself as G6 Plus, it is being speculated that the device is just another variant of P30, most probably the Moto P30 Note which will be the most expensive of all in the P30 series.

Also leaked alongside this phone is a hands on image of Motorola One, take a look:

Yes, that huge notch and the design is exactly the same as that we saw from earlier Motorola One leaks.

However, take this info with a pinch of salt until we get any official announcement or strong leaks further. Till then, stay tuned.

Moto Z4 Leaked in Renders. Shows Dew Drop Notch, Single 48MP Camera & same old Z series Design!

Motorola launched the Moto Z3 flagship last year in August with an old 2017’s SD 835 chipset instead of the then latest SD 845. Due to this, reason the company is back soon with an upgrade. The Lenovo owned company is reportedly working on its successor- Moto Z4 which will house a Snapdragon 855 and now the press images has surfaced online revealing its design aspects.

The image reveals that the Moto Z4 will have sleek bezels with a waterdrop notch on top. At the back, it has the pogo pins confirming Moto Mod support. There is a single camera at the rear which is surprising for the smartphone in 2019. However, rumours point that the sensor is a 48MP one sourced from Sony.

There is no visible fingerprint sensor on the Moto Z4, which means it will likely sport a under display one. Other things that we can ascertain from the leaked image are the placement of power button and volume rocker on right and a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the bottom. The display mentions April 3 date on the lockscreen which might be its launch date.

Now, a similar looking phone that was referred to as the Moto Z4 Play was leaked in January but the source of the current leak says Motorola has no plans to launch a Play variant in the Z series in 2019. It means that either the render is fake or the project was scrapped. Other details about the Moto Z4 isn’t available right now but if Motorola plans to launch it on April 4, we can expect the teasers to arrive soon.

Xiaomi’s Redmi seems to be working on the successor of the Redmi Y2, the Redmi Y3. The Redmi Y2 was launched back in 2018 as a camera-centric smartphone. Today, the WiFi certification of the upcoming Redmi Y3 has surfaced online.

The device bears the model number M1810F6G. According to the WiFi Alliance certification, the device will support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and will run on Google’s Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 on top out of the box.

The certification ID is WFA82629 and the certified band is listed as 2.4 GHz. 5 GHz band will also be present on the device. Unfortunately, the certification does not reveal any other information regarding the key specifications of the smartphone. This device is expected to be launched in China as Redmi S3 as the Redmi Y2 was launched first in China named Redmi S2.

The Xiaomi Redmi Y2 featured a tall 5.99-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. We expect a chipset upgrade in this year’s version. The rumors state that it may come with Snapdragon 632 which powers the Redmi 7.

The Redmi Y2 had a 16 MP front camera and a dual 12 MP + 5 MP setup. Better camera sensors are expected to be placed on the Redmi Y3. The device ran on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9.5 on top, while the Redmi Y3 will indeed run MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. It comes with a 3080 mAh battery and a rear fingerprint sensor. Higher battery capacity will be present on the Redmi Y3.

Coming to the pricing, the 3GB RAM variant of the Redmi Y2 cost Rs. 9,999 and the higher variant went for sale at a price of Rs. 12,999. Similar pricing is anticipated for the Redmi Y3 and we hope the brand does not exceed the 10k category.

We expect more information regarding the Redmi Y3 in the upcoming days. Till then, stay tuned for further updates.

Google Pixel 4 XL Leaked. Will Feature Dual Rear Cameras & Punch-hole Display!

Published

It’s the time of the year when we slowly start getting leaks from multiple sources regarding the upcoming Pixel devices. The rumor mill has started churning out leaks of the most anticipated smartphone of the year, the Google Pixel 4 XL.

The last generation Pixel devices indeed got leaked multiple times that the brand itself made a teaser video regarding the leaks. While everyone was expecting a Pixel 3 Ultra which apparently didn’t happen, the design language of the Pixel 3 XL didn’t really attract the masses with its gigantic notch.

If the leaked images are to be believed, the Pixel 4 XL will be featuring the punch-hole display which quite resembles the Samsung Galaxy S10+. The bezels are comparatively thinner this time which improves the overall look and feel of the device. We hope the brand does not skip on the stereo speakers for minimizing the bezels.

On the rear, it appears like there will be dual horizontally stacked rear cameras which are quite surprising considering the history of the brand which managed to achieve portrait mode with a single lens. This second lens could also be a wide-angle lens. The LED flash is mounted to the right of the dual rear cameras.

There is no physical fingerprint scanner on the device. In fact, the handset will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. The unknown factor is the nature of the scanner (optical or ultrasonic). It is also possible for the fingerprint sensor to be embedded into the power button.

As of now, further information regarding Pixel 4 is not known. There is no verified information if the leaked image is legitimate or not yet. If the device actually turns out to be like the one on the leaked image, we expect it to actually get positive feedback. More leaks will be unfolding in the upcoming days. Stay tuned for updates.
