Motorola launched the Moto E5 Play, E5 and its bigger variant Moto E5 Plus in April. Now the company have relaunched a . Dubbed as the Moto E5 Play Android Oreo Go edition, it , it competes against the few Android Go smartphones like Nokia 1, Lava Z50, Intex INFIE 3 and upcoming phones like Samsung’s Android Go phone, Alcatel 1X and Micromax Bharat Go.

The Moto E5 Play features a 5.84 inch FWVGA +IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels. Under the hood it is powered by a Snapdragon 425 chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz with an Adreno 308 GPU. It is coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable with a microSD card up to 128GB.

In the optics department, it sports a 8MP rear camera while offering a 5MP both accompanied by a LED flash. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition and is backed by a 2100 mAh battery. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS. Additionally it comes with a fingerprint sensor in the rear.

As for the pricing, it comes at a price tag of EUR 109 (Rs 8,730 approx) in Europe and GBP 99.95 (Rs 9,060) in the UK. It will go on sale at UK, Europe and Latin America from this month in Black, Dark Lake and Flash grey color options. Prices and availability in other markets are yet to be revealed.
