Moto E5 Plus

Now, the Moto E5 Plus is the big brother of the E5 and is quite close to being a trimmed down variant of the G6. As battery capacity is the USP of the device, the Moto E5 Plus packs a whooping 5,000 mAh battery. Also, a Turbo Charger is bundled with the package so that users can get 6 hour of juice in just 15 minutes.

It is also BIGGER than any other E Series smartphones we have ever seen as it packs a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD, here we don’t mind the 720p display at all as it is meant to be a budget phone and for power saving, the 720p display seems good. The Moto E5 Plus is powered by a Snapdragon 435 chipset with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage and there is provision for memory expansion up to 128GB using a microSD card. Here, one thing is clear, it’s better than the G6 Play on paper in terms of chipset. This time, Motorola has put the fingerprint scanner on the back on these devices and the scanner is embedded beautifully into the Motorola logo, just below the camera module on the back. Apart from these minor changes here and there, and the difference in battery capacity and display size, the E5 Series phones seem to be decent for those who are looking for a good smartphone for regular use and want great battery life.

Also, it has to be said that all of this wouldn’t come in as a surprise to readers of OnPhones, as all of the details about the phone has been leaked earlier and nothing much has changed since then!
