Moto C2 and C2 Plus renders leaked, nothing new?

Published

on

Now that Moto has done launching the Moto G6 series aimed for the budget and mid-range market, they’ve got other stuff under their sleeves. Rumor got around a few months back that Moto won’t be launching any C-series device this year.

However, that seems not to be the case. Moto is indeed planning to launch the C2 lineup, and we’ve got stuff to show you. There’s just one thing that comes into mind on seeing the new Moto C2. Lots and lots of bezels. I mean, it does look a bit ugly, doesn’t it ?

However, let’s get on to the point. The phone has a single camera setup aided by a mono LED flash on both the rear and front. The power and volume rockers are on the right of the phone as usual. The phone has the fingerprint sensor up on the front, and is supposed to additionally serve as the home button.

It supports swiping navigation and stuff, like on the other Moto phones. Jumping on to the Moto C2 Plus, we again notice a lot of additional bezels. Unfortunately, there’s just the front side of the phone leaked. The phone, similar to the C2 has a single camera with mono LED flash up on front.

Contrary to the C2, the Moto logo is on the bottom side of the phone. Furthermore, the fingerprint sensor is nowhere to be seen on the front, which is a bit unconventional for Moto phones.

We can just conclude that the fingerprint sensor is on the back. Heck, these leaked renders might be just a joke and there might be no phone called the C2 or C2 Plus. We’ll continue reporting on the same, so hang on tight!

We all know that Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is very quick in the product lifecycle of smartphones by launching two smartphones a year. The brand had unveiled its flagship device OnePlus 6T a few months back and its time for the leaks and speculations regarding the upcoming flagship, OnePlus 7.

A leaked image suggests the presence of the slider mechanism for housing the camera on the top of the handset. We have seen devices with slider mechanisms in the past with the Oppo Find X, & the Mi Mix 3 and it will be interesting to witness how OnePlus would implement this technology.

The top and side bezels are barely noticeable in the image. In addition to it, the corners are curved towards the edges which resemble Samsung flagship smartphones. The power button is mounted on the right side of the handset along with the alert slider seen on other OnePlus devices.

Also, the home screen shows the Never Settle wallpaper on the leaked image. There are more chances that this leaked image might turn out to be a photoshopped one, so take it with a pinch of salt. There are no official confirmations regarding this and we’ll have to wait to know more information.

The above image showcases the results of a speed test done on Androbench, a storage benchmarking tool for the latest UFS 3.0 technology and it appears like the upcoming OnePlus devices would make use of this technology according to the sources. This would result in faster transfer rates and would make the entire experience better.

From the features, it is unlikely that the Nokia 8.1 Plus will be a flagship and instead could be positioned to more affordable rivals like Poco F1, OPPO F9/F9 Pro, and Vivo V11 Pro.
