Xiaomi-Mi-MIX-2S

Within a few the months of the Mi Mix 2S’s launch, we have witnessed many leaks regarding Xiaomi‘s next bezel-less flagship i.e. the Mi Mix 3. Earlier, we saw the leaked images of the device which had no visible front camera. Now, this new leak will take the speculation to a whole new level.

The new leaked image showcases the pricing options and variants of the upcoming Mi Mix 3. The listing hints that the Mi Mix 3 will come in two variants including a Standard and a Ceramic version. Both the variants will be available in multiple configurations.

Mi Mix 3

As per the listing, the Standard variant will sport a “lift camera”, which is most probably the pop-up camera similar to the one seen on Vivo Nex. There are four RAM and storage configurations of this so-called Standard version available at different prices as listed below.

  • 6GB+64GB for 3399 Yuan (roughly Rs.35,200)
  • 6GB+128GB for 3699 Yuan (roughly Rs.38,300)
  • 8GB+128GB for 3999 Yuan (roughly Rs.41,400)
  • 8GB+256GB for 4299 Yuan (roughly Rs.44,500)

Next, the Ceramic variant is listed to have a “Screen Camera” which looks a bit weird and most probably should be an under-display screen camera or else might be using the screen as the camera, ditching the purpose of Notch or motorised slider for the same. Additionally, this one is reported to have a large 4000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging.

The listing also mentions “three photos”  which verbally hints towards the presence of a triple camera setup at the back, pioneered by Huawei P20 Pro. This variant is listed in following configurations:

  • 6GB+64GB for 4399 Yuan (roughly Rs.45,500)
  • 6GB+128GB for 4699 Yuan (roughly Rs.48,600)
  • 8GB+128GB for 4999 Yuan (roughly Rs.51,700)
  • 8GB+256GB for 5299 Yuan (roughly Rs.54,800)

It is visible that the same memory configurations of both the variants have a price difference of 1000 Yuan. The base variant of Ceramic version starts from the price of top-end Standard version.

Now, it is definitely hard to believe the above information as it is something out of our expectations, but if it turns out to be true, then it will be interesting to see what innovation does the Xiaomi’s new flagship brings in. Anyways, before reaching any conclusion, we should wait for further leaks and reports to see if the above information can be trusted. Till then, stay tuned.

NOTE: This is just a rumour, and it’s source is still sketchy. So take it with a pinch of salt, especially the in display camera part.

Leaked Honor 10 Lite TV Commercial reveals front and rear design

Published

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to unveil the new Honor 10 Lite smartphone on November 21st, making it less than a week far from the official launch. Earlier, we saw the device and its specs on TENAA, and now the phone is spotted in its first TV Commercial, revealing the front and rear design.

According to the commercial, the upcoming Honor 10 Lite sports a water drop notch at the front and a vertically stacked pair of segregated cameras at the back, summing up for a design reminiscent to the recently launched Honor 8X Max. The phone is advertised with “no gradient means no youth” quote, and hence it bears a glossy glass back with gradient colour options including a blue-white gradient along with a “Passionate Red” version.

The device shown in advertisement lacks any branding on the back and has a clean look which we think won’t be the case with the retail version. Moreover, the fingerprint scanner is given at the median and the power, as well as volume buttons, are placed on the right frame.

You can have a look at the video below:

As for the specs, the previous leaks including the TENAA listing suggested that this Honor 9 Lite successor will come with a 6.21-inch IPS LCD panel having a Full-HD+ resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the Honor 10 Lite will be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710/659 along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (more variants expected) which can also be expanded up to 256GB using the given Micro SDcard slot. Furthermore, it will pack in dual 13+2MP Rear cameras and a 24MP Front Camera. Both the shooters will incorporate nifty AI features, as seen on previous Huawei/Honor phones.

On the software front, it will run EMUI 9.0 and will be backed by a 3,200mAh battery with lack of any fast charging support. Lastly, the phone will weigh 162 grams and will have a 154.7 x 73.6 x 8 mm body.

Not to forget, the device was also spotted in a special “Supreme Edition” with red colour and Sup branding at the back, hinting at Honor’s partnership with the famous American Clothing brand Supreme, following the same, the company may also launch this limited edition phone later at a higher price. That being said, let’s wait for the phone to land in Beijing on 21st of November. Till then, stay tuned.
