The XiaomiMi 7 is surely one of the most anticipated smartphones apart, but the Mi Max 3 is no less in terms of popularity. We already know that the smartphone is in works for sometime with rumours surfacing earlier this year, which included wireless charging, an iris scanner, dual camera and more. The company is planning to launch the device by the end of next month in China.
On Wednesday, the rumours were further intensified as the TPU case of Mi Max 3 surfaced on Alibaba’s website. From the images, it looks like the device will arrive with a dual camera coupled with a fingerprint scanner at the rear. The inclusion of a fingerprint means there won’t be a face unlock, which is seen as a growing trend in mid range smartphones.
There are three circular openings at the top of the case, one for the headphone jack, the other for the IR blaster. We don’t know what the third one is for as of now. What makes the case different from Redmi Note 5 pro cases are that it features headphone jack on top, but Redmi Note 5 Pro headphone jack is down below. Also, the TPU case suggests that it’s design could be similar to Mi Max 2 and the only major upgrade in terms of design might be the inclusion of a dual camera at the rear.
On the hardware front, the phone is expected to come with a mega 6.99 inch Full HD display and a 5500 mAh battery. As of the processor, it’ll be either of Snapdragon 636 or Snapdragon 660.
The phone will reportedly run on Android Oreo8.1 which will be skinned with MIUI 9, just like every other Xiaomi phone . To add to the excitement, Mi is bringing it in two varients, a 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and a 4GB RAM and 128GB varient, there might even be a 6GB RAM & 64GB internal storage variant of the phone just like the Note 5 Pro.
Finally, Xiaomi is going to launch the Mi 6X on April 25 at Wuhan University. Even before the launch, there are rumors and leaks that we are witnessing constantly and Xiaomi has confirmed a variant of the Mi 6X with 6GB RAM. Now there is just a day left, but another Mi 6X hands-on video has surfaced online where we can see the front and the back.

Just two days ago, it was revealed that the Samsung‘s newest phone in the A series, Galaxy A6 will make its global debut in India, based on some recent reports which provided an idea about the probable date along with some rumored specifications of the device. But now, fresh Galaxy A6 and A6+ official case renders have leaked, which provides a first look at the design.
Samsung Galaxy A6 Case Render
This is the official Case render of the phone, which provides some idea about design, and button and camera placements. The phone a tall 18:9 aspect ratio display with minimum bezels. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the back, just below the camera module. The power button is placed on the right and the volume rockers are placed on the left. Overall, the design is pretty close to what we have seen with the Galaxy S9, except that curved Infinity Display. Rumors suggest that it will be a mid-tier phone with a 5.6-inch bezel-less display. The phone will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and it will pack a 3,000mAh battery. Some reports claimed that the phone will be powered by an Exynos processor and will run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
These are the renders of official cases for the Galaxy A6+. The phone seems to be just a beefed-up variant of the A6. However, it should have a bigger display and in the render itself, we can see that the phone is having a dual camera setup on the back. So, Samsung is bringing the S9 like tradition in the A-Series now.
Current reports indicate that the Samsung Galaxy A6 will debut in India first, and the Galaxy A6+ may be launched by the end of this month.
A hands on image of the phone has also made it online, take a look:
Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi 6X on 25th of April, i.e. Wednesday. Most of the specs were already known, but different sources were making guesses into the wild (probably) and citing different chipsets, that could power the device. Some of the earlier reports said it is the Snapdragon 626, others said it is the Helio P60, while a possibility of Snapdragon 660’s presence was also thrown.
Now, take a look at the box which was spotted by ITHome:
But now, it is confirmed that the Mi 6X will indeed be powered by the Snapdragon 660 AIE mobile platform. The confirmation comes from a couple of leaked photos of the Mi 6X retail box. However, there is no picture of the Mi 6X on the retail box. There is just the Mi logo, placed at the top right corner and 6X written at the bottom. On the back, some specs are mentioned like the 20MP sensor, the dual rear cameras, and the processor which is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with AIE.
By using the Snapdragon 660 AIE, Mi can bring AI-based features to the phone and we may see some utilization of AI in the camera app. In terms of specs, the Mi 6X will come with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with up to 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.
The phone will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box will pack a 2910mAh battery. It is also expected that Xiaomi will bring the Mi 6X as Mi A2 in India, and it is now more evident as Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun also talked about bringing more phones running stock Android to India.
