Xiaomi has good success with its A-series which comes with stock Android instead of custom interface MIUI. The Chinese company launched the Mi A1 in 2017 and the Mi A2 last year and now its gearing up for the Xiaomi Mi A3. Popular tipster Roland Quandt has published official images of the smartphone while live images of its retail box have surfaced online.
Xiaomi Mi A3 official pics w/o watermark. Enjoy. PS: I am not 100% on the specs as my info is contradicting in some ways. SD665 but 1080p is not a CC9 and not a CC9e either, so please take this wiht a grain of salt. Pics are official though. More: https://t.co/6uWOokV3Lb pic.twitter.com/BSqqAQW9z4

In his tweet Roland Quandt says that the images are official but he is not 100% sure about the specs. He mentioned that it will carry a FHD AMOLED display and house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665. The images show a waterdrop notch on the display with a small chin on the bottom. The rear sports a triple camera setup stacked vertically on the top left side. Since there is no visible fingerprint sensor, we expect it to come with a under display one. It also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.
The leaked white-color retail box confirms that the Mi A3 will be available in Blue and White shades but there seems to be a black color option as well. The protective film on the front reveals that it will indeed be powered by the Snapdragon 655 while featuring a 6.08 inch AMOED display with in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will likely to be accompanied with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
One of the sensors from the rear triple camera setup will be a 48MP sensor while the remaining two could be an 8MP wide-angle and 2MP depth sensor. On the front it will offer a 32MP camera placed on the notch. The handset will be backed by a 4,030 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
While the details suggest that the Mi A3 as a global variant of the recently launched Mi CC9e, it will be different as the CC9e has a HD+ panel while the A3 seems to sport a FHD+ panel. The predecessor was launched with a FHD+ display and fans wouldn’t want a successor with a lower- res display.
Xiaomi has released one new promo dedicated to the Xiaomi Mi A3 through its official social channels but mentioned nothing about its launch date and availability.
