The Mi 9 SE comes with a 5.97 inch AMOLED display, and the front cam sits in a v shaped notch compared to the U shaped one from it’s siblings. As a surprise, the phone comes with an in display fingerprint scanner like that of it’s elder siblings.
This phone is the first one to come with a Snapdragon 712 SoC, which is basically an overclocked Snapdragon 710. It also comes with two variants, which comes with 64GB & 128GB internal storages. Both of them comes with the same 6GB RAM though.
The phone also has the triple camera setup like the Mi 9, but with a different camera sensor array. The main sensor remains the same though, the same 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor which is an f/1.8 one. The other two sensors are a 13MP ultra wide lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. The front camera app remains the same from Mi 9, a 20MP one.
The phone does however has a downgrade in the battery, which is a 3070mAh one, with support for 18W fast charging.
The phone is priced at 1999 Yuan (21K INR approx) for the base variant and 2299 Yuan (24K INR approx) for the 6/128GB variant.
