Xiaomi‘s upcoming mid ranger, Mi 6x has been in news for sometime now. All the leaks and rumours can be put to rest now as the company has officially posted the phone in it’s Weibo account. Take a look at it:
From the press releases, you can see that the phone comes in 5 colours: Cherry Powder, Red Flame, Sand Gold, Glacier Blue and Black Stone.
The phone is also expected to arrive in India in May (probably), as Mi A2, the successor to Mi A1 (which was discontinued recently). Also, Mi A2 was recently almost confirmed.
Talking about the specs of the device, it is said to be powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC, with RAM options coming at 4GB & 6GB. Also, the phone is featuring a 5.99 inch Full HD+ display, much like Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The camera setup is said to be a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor while, on the back, there is a 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 sensor and a 20-megapixel Sony 376 sensor.
The phone will be running MIUI 9.5 on top of Android Oreo 8.1, much like Redmi Note 5 released (Chinese variant) and Mi Mix 2s released earlier this year.
The phone will be launched in April 25th in China, and all we can do is to wait for it’s release in India.
