LG V40

The Korean giant LG is now planning to launch the new flagship smartphone i.e. the LG V40 ThinQ after the recent launch of the G7+ ThinQ. Earlier, we saw the leaked renders of the device which revealed total of three rear cameras. Now, we have a 360° Video along with new 5K CAD renders of the same.

The new CAD renders by @OnLeaks and Slashleaks are based on 3D factory CAD files. The renders not only reveal the screen size and measurements of the device but also showcase the Notch on the top which wasn’t much pronounced in the renders that we saw previously.

Take a look at the 360° video:

As rumored earlier, the LG V40 ThinQ comes with five cameras including front and rear along with a high screen to body ratio. Coming to the specifications, the LG V40 ThinQ will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 aided by certain AI features and is expected to come in 4/6GB RAM options.

It will have a 6.3-inch display with Quad HD+ resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels which is larger than its predecessor by 0.3 inches, however, it’s still unclear whether the display is an AMOLED or LCD panel. The notch on the top of display is relatively small and provides space for dual selfie cameras and an earpiece. The device measures 158.8 x 75.8 x 7.8 mm, which further extends to 8.2 mm inclusive of the camera bump.

The back houses a triple camera setup featuring a primary sensor paired with an ultra wide-angle lens while the third sensor is expected to have a telephoto lens. Looking at the triple camera module, it is very clear that LG is trying to follow up with the likes of Huawei P20 Pro and Oppo R17 Pro, however, the cameras are altered to be stacked horizontally through the median.

Overall, the device is expected to be built on same Military Grade standards like the LG V35. The glass at the front and back possibly will be protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

Moreover, the V40 ThinQ retains the 3.5 mm audio jack along with the USB-C port and the speaker grill at the bottom. In addition to the power button and volume rockers, we also have an extra button to the left which should be used for triggering the Google Assistant, similar to what we saw on the LG G7+ ThinQ.

As of now, we don’t have any information about the pricing. LG is expected to unveil the device at IFA, held in September. Till then, stay tuned.

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its flagship devices – the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the S10+. Surprisingly, we have got information regarding the existence of another model in the Galaxy S10 which is named the Galaxy S10E.

Popular tipster Evleaks has come up with renders which claim to be the final design of these upcoming flagship devices. The renders are with a protective case applied on them. Take a look at the tweet:

According to the renders, it is clear that the punch-hole camera design, also known as the Infinity-O display will be seen on all the three devices. The rear cameras are horizontally stacked on all the three devices, just like the ones that we have seen earlier on the Note9.

It appears like the Galaxy S10E will be the cheapest of the three devices judging by the placement of dual rear cameras instead of triple cameras. There will be triple rear cameras on the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. If a closer look is taken, we can notice the presence of dual front cameras in the S10+ which were revealed by the handset’s public appearance a few days back.

Redmi Note 7 Launched

Xiaomi is reported to launch the Mi Mix 3 5G flagship smartphone and Redmi Note 7 Pro in the next two months. The Chinese manufacturer is also expected to launch the Redmi Go Android GO smartphone though there is no much information about it.

Now, Indian tipster Ishan Agarwal today posted in his official Twitter handle that that the company will launch not 1, not 2 butthree smartphones in the coming month, that too in “Redmi by Xiaomi” brand!

Take a look at his tweet:

The post didn’t list any smartphone but the first two smartphones are likely to be the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The third smartphone is hard to guess, but it might be the Redmi 7.

The Redmi Note 7 was launched earlier this month with a 48MP and SD 660 chipset. The Note 7 Pro will also sport a 48MP camera but with a Sony’s IMX 586 sensor. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset.

The SD 675 is placed between the SD 660 and SD 710 and will be slightly powerful than the SD 710. However, to keep the price in check, Qualcomm embedded it will a slower GPU, less capable ISP and 11nm cost effective manufacturing process. Yet to officially launched, the  handset will probably cost between Rs 14,500 – Rs 15,000 in the Indian market.

The Redmi Note 7 was available in 3/32GB, 4/64GB and 6/64GB configuration. The Pro version might go with the 6/128GB and 8/256GB configuration. It may be backed by the same 4,000 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4. It sports a  6.3-inch FHD+ LTPS display and a 13MP selfie camera.

Xiaomi has not yet given an official launch date but if this leak is genuine, we may see a teaser soon.
