The renders of LG V35 ThinQ, the upcoming flagship from LG was spotted online a week back. Latest reports suggests that an LG device with the model number LM-V350EM which has been spotted on the FCC website, might very well be the same device. If both the devices are same, then it means that the LG V35 ThinQ has passed the FCC hurdle.
LG has decided to do not follow the notch design, which is completely against the current trend, where every manufacturer is launching devices with notch design, following the iPhone. The LG V35 ThinQ will be featuring a 6-inch Quad HD+ Full Vision display, “without a notch”. In the camera department, it features a dual 16MP camera in the rear.
The dual camera is placed horizontally at an odd ball position in the rear, just above the fingerprint sensor. It will also feature AI capabilities as seen in the V30S ThinQ. The 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad-DAC in the V30S ThinQ will also make its way to the upcoming V35 ThinQ. While there is no confirmation about the Android version onboard, Android Oreo is expected for the least.
While the processor is also not revealed, rumors suggest that it will be powered by nothing less than a Snapdragon 845. The LG V35 ThinQ is expected to be an AT&T exclusive, while the LG V40 which is to be launched in Q3 will be available on all carriers. The FCC appearance revealed some of the bands that are compatible with the V35 ThinQ, including 850/1900 GSM/EDGE, 850/1700/1900WCDMA/HSUPA.
The smartphone is expected to be launched on Q2, and the FCC appearance suggests the launch date is closing by. It will be available on two colors, Black and Gray. The pricing is not known as of now.
