LG G7 to Release in May and might be Priced Around 60K INR: Report

Published

on

There seems to be a lot of hype regarding LG‘s next flagship, the LG G7 (or Judy). The phone was showcased at a couple of selected people at the Mobile World Conference 2018, and it was also confirmed that the phone is the real deal and not a prototype as suspected before.

Now according to the latest reports, the LG G7 is all set to be officially launched at the end of April or . Now talking about the device, it is confirmed that the device will be featuring an OLED display and moreover it comes with a top notch! Now under the notch, the device has got the front camera, the earpiece along with a couple of important sensors.

The device is powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset and is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery and fortunately, it does come with the fast charging capabilities. Talking about the pixels, though the device comes with a dual camera setup, it will be placed vertically right in the center top side of the device, and yeah the rear comes with a pair of 16MP sensors.

Another interesting thing would definitely be the AI camera features which will soon be arriving on the LG G7. This device would definitely be a sub Rs.50,000 device, if LG plans to price it competitively in India. But the pricing revealed by the report says a different story, LG G7 is expected to be priced at $850 to $950 (Around 55-60K INR).

Personally, I think that the LG G7 is slightly priced on the higher side when compared to the specs offered. And by the time it comes to India, There will be many other devices which offer better specifications priced around INR 40,000. If LG would launch the phone for a bargain price like they did with LG V30 in India, it’ll be real kicker to the market, given that they release the device in time.

Google Pixel 3 Lite Spotted in Geekbench. Powered by SD710 & 6GB RAM!

Published

Google is rumoured to be working on two mid-range Pixel 3 devices that will be reportedly called Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite. The news has been doing rounds for quite some time and everytime it makes headlines there is some new information about the devices. Finally, the device appeared on benchmarking website GeekBench revealing the specifications of the handset. From the list, it seems that the specifications are of the Pixel 3 Lite XL.

The GeekBench listed the device as Foxconn Pixel 2 XL which could be the new Lite Pixel variant. The listed device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM. However, previous reports indicated that the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite will be powered by mid-range 670 SoC and will not have that much of RAM. The Foxconn Pixel 2 XL managed a 1805 and 5790 points on the single core and multi-core test respectively.

Going back to the spec list, the smartphones powered by the SD 710 will definitely make the phones more affordable than their bigger Pixel siblings without compromising much on the processing power. The SD 710 already powers mid-range handsets such as the Nokia 8.1 Plus. Surprisingly, the RAM storage is more than the current Pixels’s top out at 4GB. It will likely run on stock version of Android 9 Pie being a Pixel device.

From the previous rumours it is expected to get a 12MP rear camera from the premium Pixel 3 offerings and will offer a 8MP front camera. The Pixel 3 speculated to feature a 5.5 inch FHD+ display and backed by a 2,915 while the Pixel 3 XL gets a 6 inch FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio.

Foxconn is handling the production of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. If this benchmarks turns out to be true, it will be gearing up more production work from Google in the coming months. If previous rumours are to be believed, the smartphone duo will launch sometime in Spring, possibly around March 2019.
