After a muted presence in India, Lenovo today has finally launched three new smartphones for the Indian market in its Z-Series, K-series and A-series range of devices. The Lenovo K10 Note, Lenovo A6 Note, and the latest Lenovo flagship Lenovo Z6 Pro, which is expected to pave the way for Lenovo’s comeback, who was a prominent player in the budget and mid-range smartphone segments two years ago.
The event started with Prashanth Mani, Managing Director and Country Head, Lenovo Mobiles India on the stage, who explained the company’s history and recent achievements. It was Uvais Chinoy and Akshay Jain from the Product Marketing Team introduced the devices.
Lenovo Z6 Pro features a 6.39-inch FHD+ (1080×2340) AMOLED display from Samsung with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display has DC dimming and it is HDR10 capable. Powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC carved in 7nm technology and Adreno 640 GPU, the device comes with Liquid cooling for better thermal control.
The quad rear camera setup in the Z6 Pro deliver flagship camera performance to its users. The primary sensor is a 48MP Sony IMX586 followed by 8MP ultra-wide-angle, 16MP telephoto and 2MP depth sensor. Both OIS and EIS have been given in the device for steady video recording. The company claims that it can record videos in low light and no light situations. On the front, Z6 Pro sports a single 32MP shooter.
Z6 Pro comes with a 4000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. The device supports fast charging, thus Lenovo included a 27W charger inside the box. Under the display fingerprint sensor, AI Face Unlock and 3.5mm audio jack are also included in the device.
Launched in China as Lenovo Z6 Youth, K10 Note is the successor of the much loved K-series. It has a 6.3-inch FHD+ display having 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a waterdrop notch at the top. The display is HDR10 capable. Under the hood, the device sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with an Adreno 616 GPU.
Lenovo K10 Note sports a triple rear camera setup. It features a 16-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and 5-megapixel depth-sensing camera. It is also equipped with a dedicated 2x optical zoom, which the company claims as a first in a budget device in India. The front has a 16MP sensor to take amazing selfies and portrait shots. K10 Note is kept alive with a 4050mAh battery which is having 18W fast charging support. The in-display fingerprint sensor is present in this device as well.
On the other hand, Lenovo A6 Note is a budget device for those who are looking for a feature-packed value for money device under 10000 rupees. It features a 6.09-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. Powered by a Mediatek Helio P22 coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, A6 Note is available only in a single 3GB RAM and 32GB variant. The 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera in the rear and 5-megapixel front on handles the camera department. It is equipped with a 4000mAh battery with 10W fast charging.
All these devices are available exclusively on Flipkart. The Lenovo Z6 Pro is available in a limited edition 8GB+128GB variant with a price tag of Rs.33,999. K10 Pro will be on sale from September 16 in two storage variants 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB priced at Rs.13,999 and Rs.15,999 respectively. A6 Note priced at Rs.7,999 for its 3GB+32GB storage option will be available on September 11 onwards.

Realme 6 & 6 Pro launched in India with 64MP Quad Camera, 90Hz display & 30W Flash Charge!
Realme today launched the Realme 6 and the Realme 6 Pro in India. The Chinese manufacturer has included significant updates over their predecessor despite coming just five months later like new chipsets, 90Hz display and 30W fast charging. The Realme 6 Pro is also the first smartphone in the country that out-of-the-box supports Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC), developed by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
The Realme 6 Pro features a 6.6 inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) Ultra Smooth display with 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.6 percent screen-to-body ration and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 720G SoC paired with Adreno 618 GPU. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X dual-channel RAM and 64GB and 128GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage options that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
The device sports a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.3 aperture, 12MP telephoto sensor with f/2.5 aperture and a 2MP macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. There is support for 4K video recording at 30fps frame rate and 20X hybrid zoo. At the front, there is a dual-hole selfie punch camera setup with a 16MP Sony IMX471 primary sensor with f/2.0 lens and a 8MP secondary wide-angle sensor with an field-of-view (FoV) of 105 degrees.
The Realme 6 on the other hand, features a slightly smaller 6.5 inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) Ultra Smooth display with 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.5 percent screen-to-body ration and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G90. It is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB and 128GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage options that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
On the optics, it sports a quad camera setup consisting of a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 8MP secondary ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, a 2MP tertiary sensor with f/2.4 lens and a 2MP quaternary macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front there is a single 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. It comes with features such as Portrait Mode, Timelapse, Panoramic View, AI Beauty, HDR and Bokeh Effect.
Both the smartphones runs on Realme UI based on Android 10. The Realme 6 Pro gets a 4,300 mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 fast charging support while the Realme 6 packs the same size battery with 30W Flash Charge tech. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-FI 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS and USB Type-C port.
The Realme 6 Pro pricing in India starts at Rs 16,999 for the 6/64GB variant while the 6/128GB and 8/128GB variant is priced at Rs 17,999 and Rs 18,999 respectively. It will be available in Lightning Orange and Lightning Blue color options from 12MP (noon) IST on March 12 through Flipkart and Realme site. The Realme 6 is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 4/64GB variant, Rs 14,999 for the 6GB/64GB variant while the high-end 8/128GB variant comes at a price tag of Rs 15,999. It will be available in Comet Blue and Comet White color options. The sale will start from 12PM (noon) IST on March 11. Oppo Reno 3 Pro Launched In India
Oppo had launched the Oppo Reno 3 in China, back in December last year. In China, the company also launched the Reno 3 Pro with support for 5G. Today, in India, the company has launched the Reno 3 Pro. However, this Reno 3 Pro which is the international variant comes without support for 5G. However, it’s a flagship from Oppo and packs quite powerful hardware and some features that may be useful for many.
In terms of hardware, the Oppo Reno 3 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s latest Helio P95 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM. As per MediaTek, Helio P95 has a 60% increase in performance when compared to Helio P90. The Oppo Reno 3 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a tall aspect ratio of 20:9 and a high screen-to-body ratio of 91.5%. There is a peal shaped cutout on the top-left corner of the display that houses the dual-camera setup for selfies and video calls. There is a fingerprint scanner under the display as well.
Oppo is known for its camera-centric approach and the Reno 3 Pro is packed with cameras. On the back, there is a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Along with that, there is a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a FOV of 119.9º. There is also a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor for depth sensing, which is to be used while taking portrait shots. The primary camera on the back offers 5x hybrid zoom and up to 20x digital zoom.
On the front, as mentioned earlier, there is a dual-camera setup with a 44-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In terms of camera features, there are many features like Multi-frame composition, AI-based Noise Reduction, Ultra Night Selfie Mode, Video Bokeh, Video Zoom, and AI Beauty Mode. On Reno 3 Pro as well, we can find Oppo’s proprietary Soloop Smart Video Editor which lets users edit and share their videos on social media.
The Oppo Reno 3 Pro runs Android 10 out of the box with Oppo’s own cartoony Color OS 7 skin on top. There are two variants of the phone in terms of onboard storage- 128GB and 256GB. However, there is also a MicroSD slot for memory expansion. Connectivity options on the Oppo Reno 3 Pro include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, A-GPS, and USB Type-C for charging and data transfer. The phone packs a 4025mAh battery with support for VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 30W fast charging.
Coming to the pricing, the Oppo Reno 3 is priced at Rs. 29,990 for the 128GB variant, while its 256GB variant costs Rs. 32,990. There are color options like Auroral Blue, Midnight Black, and Sky White. The 128GB storage variant is up for pre-orders and will be going on sale starting from March 6, while the availability of the 256GB variant is still unknown. Samsung Galaxy M31 Launched in India! Comes with 64MP Quad Camera, AMOLED display & 6000mAh Battery.
Samsung today launched the Galaxy M31 in India. The mid-range smartphone is the successor of the highly popular Galaxy M30 launched last year. While Samsung has mostly made minor changes compared to the M30 and the M30s, it has added a polycarbonate back making a departure from the all glass panel design look that other competitors follow in the segment.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a 6.4 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. Under the hood, it is powered by an Exynos 9611 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which can be further expanded to 512GB. The smartphone runs Samsung One UI based on Android 10. The UI brings some interesting features the company claims are tailored to users in India.
One of the main highlights of the phone is the quad camera setup at the rear. It consists of a 64MP primary camera that uses pixel binning technology to produce sharp 16MP images which consumes less storage. It is paired with an 8MP secondary wide-angle sensor, a 5MP tertiary macro sensor and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front there is a 16MP sensor housed on a water-drop notch. Samsung has added a dedicated Night Mode and 4K recording support on both the front and rear cameras along with hyperlapse and slo-mo videos.

It will go on sale on March 5 at 12PM via Amazon’s India’s website in Ocean Blue and Space Black color options. It will be competing against the likes of Poco X2, Realme X2 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro in its segment.
