Lenovo Z5 Pro to launch on November 1. Comes with Camera Slider & In-Display FP

A few months ago, a hands-on video of a smartphone by Lenovo was leaked claiming to feature slider camera and in-display fingerprint scanner. That device is none other than the Lenovo Z5 Pro. The company didn’t receive a positive response by the launch of Lenovo Z5 and is looking forward to making it up with the Lenovo Z5 Pro.

The design of the Lenovo Z5 Pro was demonstrated by Liu Jun, the Vice President of Lenovo in an interview. Now, a poster teased by the brand officially on Weibo reveals the launch date of the device. The Z5 Pro is scheduled to make its appearance on 1st of November. Take a look at the poster below.lenovoz5pro

The poster confirms the presence of camera slider and it seems like the in-display fingerprint sensor will also make its way to the device. The screen is highlighted with RGB colors which may be the notification alerts as seen on flagship Samsung devices. The much-hated notch won’t be present in the handset. Two sensors in the front are highlighted in the front which might be the dual front cameras.

The video leaked on Weibo shows the slider mechanism on the Lenovo Z5 Pro in action. The device has a manual sliding mechanism which resembles the recently launched Mi Mix 3. The handset will feature competition from other smartphones featuring the in-display fingerprint sensor like the OnePlus 6T.

The launch date is very near and we expect the company won’t turn us down as it did with the regular Lenovo Z5 by making fake promises and design renders. In case you were not aware of, there were speculations about the Z5 sporting notch-less display packed with a gigantic battery coupled with up to  4TB of internal storage but all of them turned out to be false and it just copied the iPhone X. Stay tuned for updates!
