Lenovo is gearing up to launch its upcoming mid rangerdevice, Lenovo S5. The device is said to be the Redmi Note 5 killer. As we have earlier reported that the Xiaomi will be launching its Redmi Note 5 on March 16 in China, and as Lenovo head stated that Lenovo S5 will be more powerful than Redmi Note 5, we’re left to wonder what they have in store for us with this new phone.

Redmi Note 6 Pro Reportedly Coming to India Next Month
Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi has already launched its latest iteration in the Redmi Note series – the Redmi Note 6 Pro in Thailand. Now, the brand is ready to unveil the device in India. There are no major changes for the device from its predecessor Redmi Note 5 Pro except the minor redesign of the phone, the presence of notch and new camera sensors.
The press invites for the alleged launch of the device have been leaked and it proves that Xiaomi is launching the handset within 20th of November. It seems to hint that the company might launch the device in all the three color variants.
Talking specifications, the Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a 6.26-inch FHD+ display with a notch on top. The aspect ratio of the device is 19:9 and offers a 86% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. There will be two RAM variants – 4 GB RAM coupled with 64 GB of internal storage and 6 GB RAM coupled with 64 GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera, it will sport a dual camera setup on the front and rear. The front carries a 20MP + 2MP configuration with f/2.0 aperture, portrait mode, and AI Face Unlock. The rear offers a 12MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and 1.4 µm, while the secondary sensor is of 5 MP supporting Dual pixel autofocus. Huawei Mate 20 Pro Launching in India Soon. Listed in Amazon India!
Huawei yesterday launched their latest flagship Huawei Mate 20 series in London. In the launch event, it was mentioned that the phone will be launching soon all over the world. But we were not sure if the phone would be launching here in India.
Now, Amazon India has listed the phone in their website and mentioned that it’ll be an Amazon Exclusive. If you remember, Huawei’s last flagship, the Huawei P20 Pro was also launched here in India as an Amazon Exclusive.
However, the only phone listed on this page is the Mate 20 Pro and not its siblings. We can assume Huawei might be bringing only the best, the Mate 20 Pro to India and not the other three models in the Mate 20 series. This was the same case with Huawei P20 series here in India, as only the Huawei P20 was launched.
Talking about the phone, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes with a 6.39 inch OLED display with Quad HD+ resolution. It does feature a notch, which houses 3D depth sensing facial unlock system, much like Mi 8 Explorer edition, Oppo Find X and of course the latest iPhones.
The phone is powered by Huawei’s latest HiSilicon Kirin 980, built on a 7nm manufacturing process. Which is coupled with 6GB of RAM & 128GB of internal storage.
Coming to the optics, the phone features a triple camera system, which consists of a 40-megapixel main sensor with f/.8 aperture, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor which allows for 3 times optical zoom and up to 5X hybrid zoom. On the front there is a 24MP selfie shooter with f/2.0.
The phone is backed up by a 4200mAh battery and has a 40W Super Charge fast charging, which is able to charge up 70% of the phone in 30 minutes, which is close to what Oppo brings with their Super VOOC fast charging tech introduced in Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition.
We don’t have a Indian pricing yet, but we can be pretty sure that it’ll be above what Huawei P20 Pro is selling for currently, which is Rs.64,999. As far as Europe pricing is considered, the phone costs €1049, which translated to roughly Rs.89,000. We hope Huawei won’t price the phone as much as this one, as that would be a stupid move for Huawei in India.
Mi Mix 3 to Launch on October 25th. 5G & 10GB RAM Teased!
Xiaomi‘s Mi Mix 3 is one of the most awaited smartphones this year. Xiaomi President Lin Bin revealed the device back in August but didn’t give much information. Recently Xiaomi posted a smiley face in its official account hinting to a Mi Mix 3 launch. Now an official poster revealing details about the launch has surfaced on Chinese media platform Weibo.
A previous poster also surfaced earlier suggesting that the device will launch on October 15 which turned out to be fake. But this time the company itself put the poster on its official Weibo account confirming the October 25 launch date.
According to the poster, the company will unveil the device on October 25. From the images from the poster, we can see its manual slider, a feature which was showcased by Xiaomi’s CEO and which was also leaked on a hands on video. Also from the silhouette of the device we can make out that it will come with a full screen display without any bezels which matches with the previous renders leaked before.
Xiaomi also teased two new industry firsts, one being that the phone will be the first commercial 5G phone and that the phone will be having a 10GB RAM variant. Take a look at the teasers:
As for the device, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is speculated to sport a 6.4 inch display with a resolution of 2K. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM. In the optics department the handset will sport a dual camera setup of 16MP + 13MP in the rear and a 20MP selfie camera. It is also stated to come with a 3D structured light module for facial recognition. Though there is no official word on the price, a 128GB variant appeared on the Xiaomi shop for a price tag of $452 (Rs 33,500 approx).
