Lava, the Indian manufacturer who is one among the few Indian brands doing well in the Indian market has launched a new phone in their Z series of smartphones, the Lava Z91. This is the first phone from Lava that features an 18:9 display, which is all the rage nowadays. And the phone comes after the launch of their first Android One phone in India.

Talking about the display, this phone features a 5.7 inch HD+ display, which they call FullVision display, it is a 2.5D curved glass too.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek MTK6739 SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The internal storage is rated at 32GB, just like any other 3GB RAM phone in the market now. The phone also features expandable memory using microSD card.

Coming to the cameras, the phone features a 13MP rear camera which f/2.0 aperture and flash. It also comes with portrait mode, even though it utilises single camera for the feature. There is an 8MP selfie shooter on the front with f/2.2 aperture.

The phone also boast face unlock feature, which is additionally added over the fingerprint scanner embedded on the back of the phone. The phone is backed up with a 3000mAh battery, which is non removable.

The phone comes with a 2 year warranty and also a one time screen replacement guarantee. The phone is priced at Rs. 9999 and will go against the likes of Redmi 5 & Redmi Note 5 in the Indian market.
