After the successful debut of the sub-brands Realme from Oppo & POCO from Xiaomi in India, another Chinese manufacturer iVOOMi announced its new sub-brand called Innelo in the Indian market that will be targeting the online marketplace. The manufacturer has joined hands with e-commerce website Amazon India for the distribution of the upcoming Innelo products.
Speaking on the launch, Ashwin Bhandari, CEO of Innelo India said,
We are delighted to bring our sub-brand Innelo to India. With a vision to capture the premium smartphones and accessories market, we aim to bring high-end technology products and offer them at pocket-friendly prices. With Innelo, we intend to become a sustainable, youth-centric technology conglomerate; creating products for India, in India. The brand’s products are tailor-made to suit the Indian audience and environment. These products would be launched in the price segment of 7K to 13K.
iVOOMi revealed that it will be investing $10 million in the first initial year of operations under Innelo. The new-brand will be getting the supply chain, operations and after sales service of iVOOMi which will be supported by a dedicated network of 500+ service centres spread across the country. The brand will be releasing smartphone, smart accessories and a bunch of other products.
The brand’s first smartphone will be called Innelo 1 which will be released towards the end of this month. It will be following the notch trend and aims to capture both urban and young audience across the country. Not much information is there about the handset but we expect the company to give more details in the coming days.
