Xiaomi‘s Mi 7 might just be the next most anticipated flagship right now. With the confirmation of the presence of under display finger print scanner, it just is even more exciting that the upcoming OnePlus 6. To add to the excitement, today we spotted the leaked hands on images of the device over Weibo and it’s got lots of stuff going on for it.

The first most interesting thing about the device has to be the MIUI version, the all-new Mi 7 comes with the latest version of MIUI 9.5 and just like the Mi Mix 2S, out of the box the device runs on the latest version of Android 8.1 Oreo.

Moving on, the first thing which you notice in these images is the top notch! Yes, the Mi 7 does come with a top-notch where there’s a front camera and also the front speaker placed right in there. There was also a report stating that the notch in Mi 7 might come with advanced FaceID like facial recognition hardware, it’s not clear from this image, but the notch is a little bigger than say, Huawei P20 Pro & Asus Zenfone 5.

Next thing you’ll note about this one is that the phone doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner on the back. Yes, there is no fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone, which leads to one thing only and it’s the under display fingerprint scanner. Do note that the presence of an under display fingerprint scanner on Mi 7 was confirmed by a report by XDA and was later teased by Xiaomi CEO.

The device just looks gorgeous with the glass black, and also this does the wireless charging feature just like the Mi Mix 2S. Now talking about the device, the device sports a 6.01-inch full HD+ display which comes with a resolution of 2160*1080 pixels. This device is a power-packed beast, thanks to the Snapdragon 845 processor which is coupled with a whopping 6GB/8GB of RAM.

The cameras are placed vertically and a flash has been sitting there just below the camera, unlike the camera bump we saw in Redmi Note 5 Pro & Mi Mix 2s, which mimicked the camera bump design of iPhone X.
