After launching the shatterproof Staari 10, Intex is back with yet another phone for the entry level market. Intex has now launched a successor for the Lions T1 lite. It is the Lions T1 Lite VR. As obvious as the name, Intex is bundling a VR headset with the phone. This can be seen as a move to attract a whole lot of customers who haven’t heard of virtual reality.
Similar to most of the recent phones, the new model comes with 4G LTE. While the Aqua Lions T1 Lite was priced at 3,899 rupees, the new phone is priced at Rs.4,499. This can be owed to the cost of the VR headset. You can experience games, movies etc in virtual reality by just pairing with the phone.
The phone comes with a 5 inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels. However, the display seems to be a little too humble for the trends. Powering the phone is a 1.3 GHz Spreadtrum SC9832 processor with the Mali 400 GPU. The phone comes with 1GB of RAM combined with 8GB of Internal Storage. Intex has added an expansion slot by which you can add a microSD card upto 64GB of Storage.
Moving to the camera side, the phone features a 5 megapixel sensor on the rear with an LD Flash. The camera supports Panorama, Burst Mode and Frame as well as Beauty mode. The selfie shooter is a 2 megapixel sensor capable of video calling. The phone comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It has a 2200 mAh battery which gives 172 hours of standby time and 10 hours of calling.
Furthermore, the connectivity side features dual-sim support and 4G voLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and Radio. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and micro USB port. Right now, the phone is only available at Naaptol, the ecommerce website. Moreover, Intex might put it up in offline stores.
