Chinese smartphone company Infinix has launched its latest smartphone, the Infinix S5 Lite in India. The Infinix S5 Lite is the younger sibling of the Infinix S5 which was launched in India last month. The Indian smartphone market is booming and it looks like Infinix trying to keep up with the changing trends in the market. The S5 Lite is the cheapest smartphone in the market to offer a punch-hole display.

The Infinix S5 Lite is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, which is also seen under the hoods of the Infinix Hot 8 smartphone. It is coupled along with 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage backed by a 4,000mAh battery. In the display segment, as said earlier, the S5 Lite comes with a 6.6inch HD+ screen with a punch hole for the camera. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and over 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio.

In the camera segment, it comes with a triple camera setup in the rear, consisting of a 16-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots, and a low-light sensor, while it’s bigger brother Infinix S5, came with a quad-camera setup in the rear. The triple camera onboard the Infinix S5 Lite is also assisted by quad flash for better photography. There is a 16MP front camera for taking selfies.

Coming to security, it offers face unlock and has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Infinix is shipping the S5 Lite with XOS 5.5 on top of Android 9 Pie, which also has an AI 3D Face Beauty mode for its camera.

The Infinix S5 Lite is priced at Rs 7,999 in India and will be available in three color variants via Flipkart starting from November 22.
