Huawei unveiled its Huawei P30 series last month. While the smartphones are tipped to go on sale soon, a new report indicates that it is due for official launch in India. Although the Chinese manufacturer didn’t announce any official launch dates, it launched a page on Amazon teasing the device in preparation for the location market launch.
The Huawei P30 series includes the Huawei P30, Huawei P30 Pro and the Huawei P30 Lite. The Huawei P30 Vanilla variant will likely come to the Indian market along with the Pro variant. The Lite could come on a coded mode, given that it is only a ceremonial number of the P series. Customers can register on Amazon India to get notified when the device is available. The details like pricing, color-options and exact launch dates are yet to be known.
The Huawei P30, successor to the last year’s P20 features a 6.47 inch FHD+ display with a small notch and an under display fingerprint sensor (optical). It is powered by a Kirin 980 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It sports a triple Leica camera setup on the P30 consisting of 40MP main + 20MP Ultra Wide + 8MP Telephoto configuration. The handset is backed by a 3,650 mAh battery with support for 25W Huawei SuperCharge.
The Huawei P30 Pro features a larger 6.47 inch FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch and in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is offered in 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB and 512GB internals storage. It sports Leica quad camera setup of 40MP main + 20MP Ultra Wide + 8MP Telephoto + TOF and is backed by a 4,200 mAh battery with support for Huawei SuperCharge 15W Wireless Quick Charge and Reverse Wireless Charging. Both the smartphones runs EMUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie and carries a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
On the other hand, the Huawei P30 Lite sports a 6.15 inch HD+ display with a u-shaped notch. It is powered by a Kirin 710 chipset with GPU Turbo 2.0 onboard for accelerated graphics performance. The phone is paired with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be further expandable though a microSD card. It has a AI powered triple rear camera setup consisting of a 24MP primary sensor, a 120 degree 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor while offering a 32MP selfie camera. The dual SIM handset runs on EMUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie and is backed by a 3,340 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
