Huawei P20 Pro to Launch in India Soon, Teased Officially

Published

huawei P20 India

Huawei has started seeing some bad days in the mobile phone industry. They are being slowly pushed out of the US Market. Not only has Huawei lost a deal with AT&T, but a new bill has also been proposed in the US, all of which lead to losing hope for Huawei in the US. However, now that the P20 and P20 Pro are announced, we are keeping our ears open. Now, we’ve an interesting news for Huawei fans in India,

Huawei is teasing a new phone for India on their Indian website saying “Coming Soon in India“. You can see that in the featured image of this post. And Since the P20 and P20 Pro had been announced earlier, we do expect the duo to be launched here. Take a look at the tease here.

We’ve also heard the rumour about a possible launch of Huawei P20 Pro & P20 in India earlier today, now this is an official confirmation for the India launch of Huawei P20 Pro & P20.

It has been two years since Huawei has launched any phone in India, the last one being P9. We definitely expect a full-on comeback in India by Huawei. They’ve been launching a plethora of budget models under the Honor sub-brand, and it is also worth noting that the brand has completely changed its focus to Honor for the past few years as the last phone from Huawei for Indian market was Huawei P9.

Talking about the phone, The Huawei P20 Pro sports triple cameras at the back, which might have helped it to score the highest ever DxOMark score ever, a whopping 109. It has beaten even the likes of Samsung S9+ and Mi Mix 2S.  It features a 6.1 inch OLED Display, with an aspect ratio of 19:9, which is pretty impressive.

We do hope that Huawei launches the P20 Pro as budget-friendly like the Honor V10, or even the Samsung S8+. But given the current pricing in Europe they announced, we can’t hope for much. It is a crucial time for them to take a hold over the world market, and we all know that pricing plays a key role in Indian market. What do you think about Huawei’s latest offering? Mi Mix 2s First Hands On Video Leaked! (Oh it’s Real, it’s Damn Real!)

Published

mi mix 2s hands on

We’ve all seen the recent leaks of Xiaomi’s next flagship, Mi Mix 2s, with the side notch and unbelievable screen to body ratio. We also know that it might be the first ever device to come with a Snapdragon 845. Now, here’s something new, a hands on video of Mi Mix 2s showing off it’s bezel less beauty. Take a look at the video given below:

From the video it’s evident that Xiaomi is going after iPhone X again (yeah again, you’ve seen the Redmi Note 5 Pro, right?). It’s having gestures for navigation rather than on screen navigation button. Gestures sure mimic the ones in iPhone X. But what’s missing is the Home Indicator of iPhone X.

From the video you can see the person using the iPhone X like gesture, “swipe up and pause” for recent apps screen.

Nothing else can be known from this video, as we can’t confirm the video. The side notch on the top can’t be seen in this, as the top isn’t visible. But we can safely assume that the camera notch is there on the side as the bottom of the phone is filled with display.

Redmi Note 5 Pro & Redmi Note 5 Leaks in Official Banner

Published

on

We’ve finally got an official banner leak for Redmi Note 5 Pro & Redmi Note 5, just before the official release tomorrow. Take a good look at the phones below, you saw it first here!

Take a good look at the phones now:

Looks like the phone indeed was just like the leak we saw earlier, which we covered first too and the specifications do align with the previous leak.

Now, the Redmi Note 5 Pro will come with a Snapdragon 636 & 3/4GB of RAM like it was speculated yesterday. Also, the phone will feature a 5.99inch Full Screen display (18:9), which is touted to have a maximum brightness of 450 nits.

In the camera side, we’re seeing great improvements with a 20MP front facing camera, that’s up from 5MP from previous generations. Also, the sensor is a Sony IMX 376 sensor, that we found in Vivo V5 & V5s. On the back, we have dual camera setup of 20+5MP

Now, talking about Redmi Note 5, it carries on lots of stuff from Redmi Note 4, including Snapdragon 625. This can just be taken as a minor upgrade, and is basically just the rebranded Redmi 5 Plus (not sure if this is exactly the same phone). It comes in two variants, 3/32GB & 4/64GB. The 2/16GB variant of the predecessor has been scraped.

Sadly the Redmi Note 5 comes with a selfie camera of 5MP, but rear camera is the upgraded unit from Redmi 5 (I suppose).

Both the phones comes with 4000mAh battery, and will offer spectacular battery life like the predecessor.

From this, we can see that what both the phones share are the screen & battery, other than that, they’re completely different phones. Xiaomi could be just made the Pro version Redmi Note 5, but that would mean higher price for the phone, that might be the reason they opted for two different models this time around.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Specifications

  • 5.99 inch FHD+ display
  • Snapdragon 636
  • 12 MP & 5 MP Dual Cameras
  • 20 MP front camera
  • 3GB/4 GB/6 GB RAM
  • 32GB/64 GB ROM
  • Nougat OS (MIUI 9.5)

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Specifications

  • 5.99 inch FHD+ display
  • Snapdragon 625
  • 5.7-inch screen (1080 x 2160 pixels)
  • 3/4 GB RAM
  • 32/64 GB internal storage
  • 4000 mAh battery
  • 12 MP rear camera/5 MP front camera
  • Nougat OS (MIUI 9.5)

Redmi Note 5

Xiaomi and Flipkart has been teasing their next phone release with #GiveMe5 campaign. Now, Flipkart has uploaded a video named “Redmi Note 5“, take a look:

Now, it seems like they’re made a mistake of naming the Youtube video Redmi Note 5 instead of some title that’s supposed to be a tease.

Xiaomi has been teasing the phone and has been tight lipped about what the launch is for sometime now. This seems like a honest mistake from Flipkart’s side and let’s wait till February 14th for more info!

UPDATE: Flipkart has now changed the name of the video to Indian’s All rounder. Don’t worry, we’ve a screenshot of the old name below:

UPDATE 2: Flipkart has deleted the video now!
