Huawei Nova 3

Huawei is reportedly said to be working on the new Kirin 710 chipset to compete with the likes of Qualcomm and Samsung. The SoC is expected to debut with the upcoming Huawei Nova 3 which is supposed to be the successor of recently launched Huawei Nova 3e (Huawei P20 Lite).

As per the previous leaks and teasers, the device looks very identical to the Huawei P20 Lite. The device has now received its certification from TENAA. As per the listing, the device comes with two model numbers, namely “PAR-AL00” and “PAR-TL00”. It will be powered by an octa-core CPU, clocked at 2.36 GHz. Though the chipset is not named, it is most likely to be the new Kirin 710, but looking at the clock frequency, there are few chances of it turning out to be the same old Kirin 659.

Also take a look at the device listed on TENAA:

The Huawei Nova 3 will sport a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, and a Notch on top, maintaining an aspect ratio of 19:9. The device will pack 6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of onboard storage.

The Dual Camera Setup at the back is reported to feature a 16 MP primary shooter, paired with a 24 MP secondary shooter which seems to be the traditional RGB + Monochrome combination. The Notch at the front houses a dual camera setup as well, including a 24 MP primary shooter along with a 2 MP depth sensor.

It weighs 166 g and is slightly larger than the P20 Lite at 157 x 73.7 x 7.3 mm. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is backed by a 3,650mAh battery that is expected to support Huawei’s own SuperCharge protocol for fast charging.

Furthermore, a new presentation slide leak indicates that the Huawei Nova 3 will be officially unveiled on July 18, 2018. The device seems to be a beefed-up version of the existing Huawei P20 lite, with no major change in design. It will be interesting to see if it actually comes with the new Kirin 710.

Given that the launch is near, let’s wait for the official specs and pricings and the phone to launch in China first.

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its flagship devices – the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the S10+. Surprisingly, we have got information regarding the existence of another model in the Galaxy S10 which is named the Galaxy S10E.

Popular tipster Evleaks has come up with renders which claim to be the final design of these upcoming flagship devices. The renders are with a protective case applied on them. Take a look at the tweet:

According to the renders, it is clear that the punch-hole camera design, also known as the Infinity-O display will be seen on all the three devices. The rear cameras are horizontally stacked on all the three devices, just like the ones that we have seen earlier on the Note9.

It appears like the Galaxy S10E will be the cheapest of the three devices judging by the placement of dual rear cameras instead of triple cameras. There will be triple rear cameras on the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. If a closer look is taken, we can notice the presence of dual front cameras in the S10+ which were revealed by the handset’s public appearance a few days back.
