This year at the Mobile World Conference 2018, both Samsung and Sony has unveild their flagship devices which are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. Now, we’re getting reports about one more SD 845 phone from HTC, the HTC U12. The company is about to launch their new device which is the successor to its previous device the HTC U11.

Now coming back the HTC U12, this device sports a 5.99 inch Quad HD+ display which comes with a resolution of 2880*1440 pixels, and this is a 18:9 display. Talking about some power, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor and is coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. This device comes in two different variants, one with 4GB of RAM, and another one with 6GB of RAM, and talking about the internal storage it goes right up to 256GB depending upon the variant.
The device comes with a dual rear camera setup with 12MP and 16MP sensor, and the front is an 8MP shooter which is quite decent. The device lacks behind in terms of battery, it offers 3,420 mAh but thanks to the fast charging support. HTC has introduced Edge Sense 2.0 with this device, so now we can expect it to be a bit more responsive. Though the device runs on Android Oreo out of the box, it’ll be coming with Sense UI from HTC on top of it. This device comes with IP68 certification which means that the device is both water and dust resistant.
According to the recent rumors, the company is also planning to launch their two new devices which comes with the 18:9 displays, the HTC Desire 12 and the Desire 12 Plus, which we reported earlier.
