There were many rumors out there which suggest that HTC is planning to launch the desire 12 Plus in the budget smartphone segment and this stands out to be the first device in this segment to come with 18:9 display.
Talking about the device it sports a 5.99-inch HD+ display which comes with a resolution 1440*720 pixels and also with 18:9 display ratio. The device is powered by Snapdragon 450 Octa-core processor of 1.8 GHz and is coupled with Adreno 506 GPU.
Talking about the memory, this device runs on 3GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of internal storage, if this isn’t sufficient enough, then you also get a micro SD card slot to increase your storage. Talking about the camera department, the all new HTC Desire 12 Plus comes with a 13MP rear shooter and an 8MP front camera to capture selfies. HTC seems to concentrate to more on the front camera, it has mentioned that it is working out to add electronic image stabilization (EIS) to the front camera so that all the videos captured through the front camera will be stabilized.
Talking about the rear camera, it will be using a back-illuminated sensor so that it can capture high-quality images even in the low-light conditions. The device will be supporting both the GSM bands 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and also LTE bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 40. Out of the box, the device runs on the latest version of Android, the Android 8.0 Oreo.
The device seems to be average in the battery department, the device comes with a 2,965 mAh battery but thanks to the Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging, we no more need to worry about our device.
