The Chinese giant Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has unleashed an unusual poster lately, which appears to be a teaser of their upcoming phone. This image was posted on their Weibo page, and the text reads something related to the Honor 10 series.
The post in Weibo reads out:
The lights are in place, BGM is ready, and the glory 10 series mysterious new members are coming soon!
They are the “lights” in youth, they radiate different charms in the gradual world! Comment on who they are, pumping a new mobile phone
The phone tends to be the Honor 10 Lite, which could be the successor of the Honor 9 Lite, launched back in December, 2017. As the December of this year’s approaching, this could be it. This doesn’t really seem to be an upgrade for the Honor 9i, which is already due for an upgrade back in July.
It seems that this image also features their new brand ambassador, the Chinese singer Zhu Zhengting.
From the perspective of youth, Zhu Zhengting does fit very well. At present, Huawei has assembled Zhao Liying, Hu Ge, Sun Yang, Bai Yu and other spokespersons, and the lineup is strong.
The new Honor phone could be coming with a notched display, Kirin 710 SoC which was unveiled along with Huawei Nova 3i, followed by the Honor 8X that was launched a little while ago. It may also run Android 8.0 out of the box with Huawei’s skin EMUI 8.x on top.
As of now, there is no confirmation regarding the exact specifications or the nomenclature of the phone. That being said, let’s wait for upcoming leaks and reports to reveal more about the same. Till then, stay tuned.
