Honor is all set to launch it’s latest smartphone, Honor Magic 2, in the coming week. There has been several leaks which revealed its specifications and design to the public. A week ago, we reported the leaked images and hands-on videos of the Honor Magic 2. Shortly afterwards, the Honor Magic 2 was spot on TENAA. Now fresh renders have appeared online which revealed the color variants of the Honor Magic 2. According to the leak, it will be available in Silver, Blue and Red color variants.
Take a look at the leaked renders:
The fresh renders reveals that the much hyped slider on the Honor Magic 2 features three front facing camera sensors. As we have known earlier, the rear features a vertically placed triple camera setup, with the third camera placed separately. However, the slider on board the Honor Magic 2 will be a manual one, instead of a fully automatic slider. The slider blends in with the smartphone design without any visual impairments.
Apart from the slider, the handset features an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It comes with an edge-to-edge 6.39-inch AMOLED screen that supports Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a negligible chin at the bottom. There are speculations that the Honor Magic 2 will be featuring the same display that was seen on the Honor Mate 20 pro.
The device will be powered by a 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 flagship chipset coupled with Mali-G76MP10 GPU. It will be available in two versions: 128 GB storage + 6 GB RAM and 256 GB storage + 8 GB RAM. It must be noted that the internal storage cannot be expanded as there is no microSD slot on board the Magic 2.
Coming to the camera department, the rear triple camera setup features a 16-megapixel primary shooter, followed by a 24-megapixel secondary shooter and a 16-megapixel telephoto lens with LED flash. In the front, we’ll have a 16-megapixel shooter with a 20-megapixel and a 2-megapixel TOF camera for face unlocking.
The Honor Magic 2 will be running on EMUI 9.0 based on latest Android 9.0 and will be fueled by a 3400mAh battery. The device will come bundled with a 40-watt Magic charger. Honor is expecting to rival the Mi Mix series through the Magic 2 which is scheduled to launch next week.
