Honor has launched a variety of handsets this year in affordable prices. Their devices on the budget segment are not only cheap but also offer great value for money. The company has planned to unveil a new device on the 11th of this month. According to the leaks, the brand will launch the Honor 8C in the market.
Honor 8C was first spotted on TENAA a few weeks ago, and is the successor to Honor 7C, which was released earlier this year. It revealed the basic design aspects of the device. The images of the Honor 8C confirms that it will carry a dual rear camera setup on the top left corner with 13 MP primary sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor. The front camera will sport an 8 MP sensor for selfies and video calling. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the rear side, the ideal spot for fingerprint sensors. LED flash is mounted to the right of the cameras.
The Honor 8C comes with a 6.26 inch LCD display with a resolution of HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels). It will be powered by Snapdragon 632 chipset paired with Adreno 506 GPU, which makes it the first device to pack the Snapdragon 632 SoC.
The processor is made using a 14nm FinFET process which Qualcomm claims to be 40 percent more efficient than the Snapdragon 626 SoC. The device will be coupled with 4GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. On the front bottom chin, Honor’s logo is present.
The handset will run EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It will be backed by a 3,900 mAh battery and will be available in Blue, Black, Purple and Gold color options. It measures 158.72 x 75.94 x 7.98 mm and weighs 167.2 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WI-FI 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS + GLONASS. We’ll get to know more about the device once Honor launches the device in a few days. Till then, stay tuned for updates.
