Huawei is one of the smartphone manufacturers who has shown good improvements in the year of 2017. Many devices released on the Honor series has acquired good amount of sales. The Honor 7X was one of the greatest hits from Huawei last year. The device came out in the last month of 2017 and was only available online through Amazon exclusive. They also launched a Valentine’s special red variant of the phone earlier this week in India. Now Huawei will be making the Honor 7X available offline from February 9.
Huawei has already announced that the Honor 7X will be available offline in all their official and partner stores starting from February 9.
The Honor 7X from Huawei is a device which is part of the Make in India program. The production of the device is done at the plant in Sriperumbatur near Chennai. The device is available on three ROM configuration online, but only the 64 GB ROM variant will be currently made available offline. The device will have the standard 4 GB RAM and will be priced at Rs.15,999. Two color variants will be available which are the blue and black color.
As before promised by the company the online and offline price of the Honor 7X variant looks identical. The same accessories available from Online sales will be available out of the box in the offline market too. The company also has plans to do a good amount of sales through the offline market.
Users can expect good offers and deals given out with the device on the official Honor Experience stores. The company is also planning to open more service centers across the country to offer good after-sales services to all their users.

LG Q7, Q7+ and Q7α Launched. Comes with DTS Sound & optional Quad DACs!
LG today unveiled the LG Q7 trio (Q7, Q7+ and Q7α) smartphones which is sure to appeal customers that can’t afford a G or V series phone (the audiophiles!). The new smartphones are an upgrade to the LG Q6 equipped with serious audio power! And yes, it does appear to confirm the previous leaks.
The LG Q7 comes with Hi-Fi audio with DTS:X 3D Surround sound that can emulate 3D surround sound over headphones. The technology can simulate the 3D environment of any audio to produce 12 channels of binaural surround sound creating an immersive cinematic audio experience. The LG Q7+ variant also features Quad DAC’s like in LG G7 or V30.
The LG Q7 sport metallic bodies which are MIL-STD-810G-complaint and also IP68 rated water protected. The front houses a 5.5. inch Full Vision 2.5D LCD display with an resolution of FHD+ (2,160 x 1080 pixels) and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, they are powered by an unknown Octa-core chipset clocked at 1.8 GHz or 1.5 GHz. The LG Q7 and the Q7α have a 3GB RAM + 32GB internal space configuration while the Q7+ comes with 4GB RAM + 64GB internal space. All three models have memory expandable options through microSD card. There is Smart rear fingerprint sensor which doubles as a shutter button, click screen shots and drag notification bar.
In the optical configuration, the Q7+ sports a 16MP rear camera while the Q7 and Q7α have a 13MP one. In the front all the smartphones have 5MP super wide angle (100 degree) selfie camera. But you may also get an 8 MP front camera depending on the region. The latest feature in the Q7 is the Portrait effect that allows users to take Bokeh effect photographs with blurred background. There is also PDAF, which is touted to be 23% faster than traditional auto-focus. The Q7 also gets the QLens which uses AI tech for recognising objects in image and efficiently search online.
They are all backed by a 3,000 mAh battery with Qualcomm’s Fast Charge which the company claims charges from 0% to 100% in just 30 minutes thanks to an USB Type-C port. The company is yet to officially announce the pricing of the smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S Light Luxury launched in China, Basically an S8 with an SD660!
Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S light Luxury in China, as it was expected to. The handset previously appeared in TENAA and was rumoured to be called “S8/S9 Lite”. The smartphone has the same size as the Galaxy S8 and even manages to place the fingerprint sensor similarly. The body has IP68 level waterproof protection as expected.
As for the specs, the Samsung Galaxy S light Luxury features a 5.8 inch curved AMOLED Infinity display with a resolution of FHD+ (1,080 x 2,220 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 18:5:9. Under the hood, it houses a Snapdragon 660 chipset with Ardeno 512 GPU coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
In the optics department, the smartphone sports a 16MP rear sensor with f/1.7 aperture while offering an 8MP selfie camera with f/1.7 in the front. It can record 4K videos at 30 fps but lacks OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) which can result in shaky videos. It will run on Android 8.0 Oreo and will be backed by a 3,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS and GLONASS, USB 3.1 and NFC. The smartphone retains the 3.5 mm headphone jack and comes bundled with an AKG-in-ear headset. Additionally it comes with a Bixby dedicated button.
The Samsung Galaxy S light Luxury is currently available in Burgundy Red but a Black Night version will be added later on. It comes pre-loaded with the apps that can replace Google apps like Golder Map. As for the pricing, the smartphone comes at a price tag of CNY 4,000 (Rs 42,000 approx) which will go against the likes of recent flagships like OnePlus 6 and event its own Galaxy S9 flagships. Currentltly there is no word about the global launch of the smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy A6 & A6+ Launched in India, comes with Infinity displays & Dual camera
Just when we thought Samsung is getting aggressive with pricing and their devices, they have launched a couple of midrange devices which begs to differ. Samsung launched a pair of devices in A series which are the Samsung Galaxy A6 & A6+ along with their J series devices.
As a key feature both the devices are offering similar specs such as 18.5:9 aspect ratio display which Samsung considers as ‘Infinity Display’, AI camera & Android Oreo straight out of the box.
Moving towards the specifications of both the devices, the company has equipped many new elements in them which are as follows, the Galaxy A6 features a 5.6-inch HD+ (720×1480 pixels) Super AMOLED panel with Samsung’s Infinity Display design and 18.5:9 an aspect ratio.
Whereas the Galaxy A6+ comes with a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080×2220 pixels) Super AMOLED panel based on the company’s Infinity Display design and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. And both the devices come with dual nano sim support along with a dedicated micro sd card slot.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy A6 is equipped with a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7 series SoC, which is accompanied by 4GB of RAM. And on the other hand, the Galaxy A6+ is equipped with a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, which is also paired with 4GB of RAM.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy A6 has a 16-megapixel rear camera sensor with a f/1.7 aperture, while the front side has a 16-megapixel sensor with a f/1.9 aperture. Both cameras come with an LED flash sitting right next to it. And whereas the Galaxy A6+ comes with a dual rear camera setup, among which one is a 16-megapixel primary sensor having a f/1.7 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor along with a f/1.9 aperture.
And moving on to the front of the device has a 24-megapixel camera sensor on the front with a f/1.9 aperture. And in here also both the rear, as well as the front camera, comes with LED flash modules. However, interestingly both the devices come with the new camera app with Live Bokeh and Background Blur Shape features as an add-on.
The Galaxy A6 comes with 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage variants, whereas the Galaxy A6+ comes with only 64 GB onboard storage variant, and both of them can be expandable up to 256GB by a micro sd card. Besides, that as a connectivity option both of them has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the connectivity front and sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. And everything is powered by a 3000mAh as well as a 3500mAh battery.
Apart from these Samsung also packs some other preloaded functionalities which are yet ordinary but some of them are quite new, such as selfie flash functionality that helps users to adjust their exposure of the light while capturing selfies. The devices also come with a ‘Chat over Video’ feature that allows users to chat on WhatsApp or using the default messaging app whilst simultaneously by watching videos.
In terms of pricing and availability both the devices, the Galaxy A6 is priced at Rs. 21,990 for the 32GB storage variant, while its 64GB onboard storage variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 22,990. And the Galaxy A6+ is priced at Rs. 25,990. Although both of them will be available for purchasing from tomorrow onwards. Both of the devices will be available in three color variants which are Blue, Black & Gold.
