Two separate leaks reveal are two upcoming Honor devices, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 Lite.
The first one is Honor 20 or Honor 20 Pro. Honor 20 Pro will be featuring the Sony IMX600 sensor on the rear and the flagship processor Kirin 980 under the hood.
Presumably, this will be Honor’s next addition to their Kirin 980 powered fleet of devices. Kirin 980 is an octa-core processor built on 7nm FinFET node and powers the flagship range of devices of the brand. Also, it’s mentioned in a Weibo post that the base variant of the device would be costing CNY 2999 (approx. USD 445). Honor 20 Pro will be the second device from the brand to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, after Honor Magic 2.
The device houses a triple camera setup featuring 48MP primary sensor, 20MP wide-angle sensor, and an 8MP telephoto sensor. It is said that the Sony IMX600 image sensor will be debuted through this phone. A 32MP selfie camera constitutes the front camera setup. 3X optical zoom is said to be available in this device.
It will be launched in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB storage options. Honor 20 Pro will be powered by a 3650mAh battery and will support 22.5W SuperCharge technology through the USB Type-C port.
Now, Honor 20 Lite would be a lighter version of the Honor 20 Pro, as the name suggests. The device follows a dot notch display, seen before in the Huawei P30 Lite and Nova 4e. The device has a triple cam setup at its rear, featuring 24MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth sensors and a 32MP selfie camera. The lite version would not be housing an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a physical fingerprint sensor would sit near the rear camera. The device features the Kirin 710 SoC under the hood, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable via the microSD slot.
A 3400 mAh battery will power the device, although there’s no word about the charging technology used in the device. Nonetheless, there’s a 3.5mm jack and a micro USB port. The phone would come in Black and Aurora Blue colour variants.
