Huawei‘s sub-brand Honor is right around the corner to unveil a new mid-range smartphone in the market. The parent company Huawei is also set to launch a few devices in the upcoming days like the P30 series and Nova 4e.
The latest Honor’s offering is the Honor 10i. The device will be a spec upgrade over the last year’s Honor 10. According to the leaked images that surfaced online today, the device looks similar to Honor’s own Honor 10 Lite which is another variant Honor 10 which got launched months back.
The handset flaunts a glossy design with a water drop notch on top of the display. The display is a tall 6.21-inch IPS LCD one whose pixel resolution is not known yet but we expect it to be Full HD+. There will be a physical rear fingerprint sensor on the handset. The volume rockers and power button are placed on the right side of the device.
The major attraction regarding this new device is indeed the presence of triple rear cameras. There will be triple rear cameras of 24 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP resolution. The details of the sensors are not known yet but one sensor will be used for capturing depth information for sure. The triple cameras are mounted vertically with the LED flash placed below the camera sensors. On the front, there will be a 32 MP sensor which is placed in the notch.
The Honor 10i is powered by the brand’s own Kirin 710 chipset which is an octa-core chipset made in 12 nm process. There will be 4 GB of RAM on the device which will be coupled with 128 GB of internal storage. The usual connectivity options along with NFC is present on the handset.
Further details are not known yet but there will be leaks coming out in the upcoming days. So, keep watching this space for more updates.
