Honor quietly introduced the new Honor 10i in Russia. It comes with a waterdrop style notch and a 3D gradient finish on the rear. It joins the Chinese manufacturer’s other smartphones like Honor 10, Honor 10 Lite in Honor’s Portfolio.
As for the specifications, Honor 10i features a 6.21 inch display with a resolution of FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
In the optics department, the device comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 24MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP secondary sensor and a 2MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it offers an AI-powered 32MP sensor. The handset runs EMUI 9.0.1 based on Android 9 Pie. It houses a 3,400 mAh battery. Among other specifications, the phone features 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, Face Unlock and a rear fingerprint sensor.
Honor is yet to reveal the pricing of the Honor 10i while the availability of the phone is listed as ‘coming soon’. Looking at the specs, it is likely a mid-range device that will compete against the likes of Samsung M30. It will be offered in three color options with the Red and Blue variants to sport a 3D gradient finish while the Black variant will have 3D finish without any gradient.
