Honor 10 teaser

If you opened Flipkart today morning, you might have noticed the following teaser that was put up on the site, saying”The OnePlus Killer is on its way”, you can see that in the featured image above. Take a look at the full teaser for yourself:

As you can see, the teaser for the newest launch on Flipkart says “OnePlus Killer“, which means a phone with competitive pricing in the range of OnePlus 6. Also, there is a truck carrying “10”. Also, there is the quote “The Best Flagship Experience*”, with the * reading “with AI”.

All of this point to one thing only, Honor 10!

Yes, Honor‘s newest flagship, the Honor 10 is coming to India, that too very soon!

The phone was launched in China recently and is now awaiting it’s global release. It was confirmed earlier that the global launch of the phone will be happening on May 15th.

It is to be seen that if the company would be launching the phone on the May 15th itself in India or would be having a separate launch event for the phone. But we can expect the phone’s India launch to coincide with the OnePlus launch, which is set to May 17th.

Coming to the phone itself, it is having a 5.84 inch 19:9 Full HD+ notched display, much like it’s elder much pricier cousins Huawei P20 series. And it is also powered by the same Kirin 970 chipset that powers the P20s.

Where it’s different is in the cameras. Honor 10 comes with a dual cam setup of 16+24MP on the back, where the primary sensor 16MP is a f/1.8 RGB one and the secondary is a 24MP monochrome one. For selfies, it has a 24MP selfie shooter.

The phone is powered by a 3400mAh battery, which supports Huawei SuperCharge of 5V/4.5A for fast charging. The phone comes in two variants, 6GB RAM + 64GB internal & 6GB RAM + 128GB internal. The 64GB variant is priced at 2599 Yuan in China, which translates to almost Rs. 27.5K and the 128GB variant is priced at 2999 Yuan, which equals to Rs. 31.5K. If Honor prices the phones similarly in Indian market, it’ll be a very compelling alternative to OnePlus 6 and would undercut it by a large margin!
