We saw a glimpse of Xiaomi backed Black Shark gaming phone on a teaser revealed by the company, earlier this week. And now, probably for the first time, we have got a look at the Black Shark gaming phone! Here’s the picture of the Black Shark, that shows the back of the device.
Here, it can be clearly seen that the phone looks quite rugged and there is something like a case, put on top. There is a protruding triangular space where we can see dual camera sensors and a flash. The design is a little different and may feel weird to many, but it’s a unique design approach.
Also, there is a case or what we suspect is a mod, which may act like a gamepad for playing games, something similar to Moto Gamepad Mod. Earlier, the teaser revealed half of the phone and showed the curved edges and that can be seen here as well. However, due to that case, we don’t get to see what buttons are there on the edges. However, the teaser confirmed that the power button will be on the right side so we can expect the volume rockers to be on the left. That’s all we know now having looking at the back of the phone.
Earlier, AnTuTu Benchmarks revealed that the Xiaomi Black Shark Gaming Smartphone will sport a full-HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 32GB of onboard storage. Whereas, Geekbench listing revealed that the phone will run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and will have a whopping 8GB of RAM, to satisfy RAM hungry games and flawless multitasking. Also, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship, Snapdragon 845.
Other than that, not much is known about the device yet. However, we are expecting something like a display with 120Hz refresh rate, a game center and a few features dedicated to games and in this case, ‘bezels’ may be good as gamers will always prefer a phone that has top and bottom bezels so that they can have a good hold of the phone!
Xiaomi is set to release the Black Shark Phone on April 13th in China, so until then let’s see whether we can have a look at the front or not.
