It is barely a week left for Google to unveil its new Pixel 3 lineup and here we are welcomed with a sudden impression of a new small-sized Pixel (referred as Pixel Mini) smartphone to be unveiled alongside the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL.

The hint for the same came from the official Instagram handle of the company where it hinted about the Mini Pixel by saying “We’ve heard rumors of a mini Pixel. Which begs the question how “mini” is too mini? We have a feeling the next one will be a bit bigger than this. Tune in on 10/9 to see for yourself.”

Google then took it to a next level by making another post, reading out “We’ve heard rumors of a mini Pixel…” followed by the previous quote confirming the existence of a small-sized Pixel device.

Interestingly, now a device alleged to be the Pixel Mini has been spotted on GFXBench. According to the popular tipster, Roland Quandt, a Google phone with code-name “Bonito,” has been suspected tested on GFXBench. If you don’t know, Bonito is the name of a small fish (a relative of Tuna) which hints for the word “Mini” i.e. the Pixel Mini!

Furthermore, the suspected Pixel Mini is reported powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC also hinting that it will come at a cheaper price tag, compared to the flagship Pixel 3 duo. Apart from this, no other information is mentioned as of now! And given that the launch is just 3 days near, scheduled for Oct 9 at 8:30PM IST, let us wait for the event to find out what Google actually has been planning in all these holidays (Event will be live-streamed on Youtube and @madebygoogle Instagram as well).
