Google Pixel 3a XL to start at Rs. 44,999 in India: Leak

Google will be hosting its annual developer conference in Mountain View California on May 7 which is tomorrow. The company will be launching its anticipated Pixel 3a line-up at the I/O 2019 developer conference. With just a few hours from the launch, the Indian pricing of the Pixel 3s XL has leaked online. We already know a great deal about the Pixel 3a duo thanks to multiple leaks in the past.

According to the recent unverified leak on slashleaks, the Pixel 3a XL will come at a price tag of Rs 44,999 in the Indian market. This will be the starting price of the base variant which will have a 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage configuration. Some previous leaks have suggested a 450 Euros (Rs 35,000 approx) price tag for the Pixel 3a XL. If this pricing is true, it will compete against the upcoming OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The OnePlus 7 Pro pricing was recently leaked and it shows similar pricing range as the Pixel 3a XL.

From the GeekBench spec sheet, the Pixel 3a XL will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset while the standard Pixel 3a will get a Snapdragon 670 paired with 4GB RAM. The XL variant will feature a big 6.0-inch display while the regular variant will pack a 5.6-inch display. Both the devices will have FHD+ resolution and run on Android 9 Pie.

The Pixel 3a XL is said to sport a single 12.2MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash while the front will offer an 8MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture for selfies and video calling. The handset will draw power from a 3700 mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging. The Pixel 3a is already being teasing to launch on May 8 in India in India via Flipkart. Redmi K20 Hands On Leaked, Official Images & Posts Reveal In Display FP, AMOLED display & More!

Ahead of the launch of Redmi‘s flagships, Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro, photos of the smartphone have surfaced online getting the fans more excited and stuff to talk about.

The photos reveal a button on the left side dedicated to Xiaomi’s virtual assistant.

Redmi has already confirmed that the K20 will feature a 48MP primary camera, 4000 mAh battery, 960 fps slow-mo video recording and now it revealed that it will feature a seventh-gen optical in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Redmi K20

The company said the fingering sensor is equipped with a 3P lens and has 7.2µm ultra-large pixels. It has a 100% higher photo-sensitive area, 15% more scanning area and is 30% more accurate than previous generation scanners.

The UD fingerprint scanner on the notch-less Redmi K20 features DSP acceleration technology that increases its unlock speed by 10% compared to the previous generation while increasing the success rate by 30% under direct light and low temperature.

Redmi to Launch two Variants of it’s Flagship, Redmi K20 & K20 Pro!

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is expected to make an official announcement tomorrow regarding its upcoming flagship. The announcement won’t be an actual event, but we will get the official name and the launch date. The Redmi smartphone has previously been subjected to multiple leaks and rumours.

Ahead of the announcement, a tipster has revealed new information about the Redmi flagship smartphone. There was a leak earlier this month which suggested the device will be named as Redmi K20 Pro and now tipster Ishan Agarwal revealed that the upcoming phones from the Chinese manufacturer will indeed be named as Redmi K20 and a higher variant Redmi K20 Pro.

The tipster further claims that both the devices will come in a Carbon Fibre Black, Glacier Blue, and Flame Red color options. The Redmi K20 will come in 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB storage configurations. As for the Pro variant, it will have the same storage options with an additional 8GB + 128GB variant.

Over the past weeks, we know a lot about the Redmi flagship smartphone from the leaks as well from the official hints and teasers.  The smartphones codenamed “davinci” and “raphael” will be powered by the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. The company also launched a new video which hints that the company’s next flagship smartphone will come with a pop-up camera. The pop-up camera seems to be placed a little towards the left side of the upper edge and not the center.

In terms of pricing, the smartphone will be priced higher than the higher variant of the Redmi Note 7 Pro as the company would not want to affect its sales. It will likely be priced in the range of Poco F1. We don’t have to wait much as the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro is expected to be launched by the end of this month of the start of June.

Infinix teases their upcoming Smartphone with 32MP Selfie camera!

Smartphone manufacturer Infinix seems to be working on a new selfie-centric phone. The Transsion Holdings owned brand is known for its budget smartphones and recently launched the  Infinix Smart 3 Plus smartphone with triple camera setup under the sub 7k price tag. The upcoming smartphone from the company was teased on e-commerce website Flipkart suggesting its imminent launch.

The Flipkart teaser of the smartphone does not reveal its name. According to some reports, it could be the Infinix S4, which was recently launched in some African nations. The teaser hints that the device will be a selfie-centric with some key design elements.

On the front, the handset packs a 32MP camera for selfies and video calling. The fact that that the Infinix S4 also carries a 32MP selfie camera makes us believe they are the same. The display will have a waterdrop notch where the selfie camera will be placed. The teaser also hints a big display panel but no specifications are mentioned.

Even if it is not the Infinix S4, the specifications will likely to be the same with minor differences. The smartphone boasts a 6.2-inch HD+ panel and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. It comes with 3GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage.

In the optics department, it consists of a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP sensor for depth mapping and an 8MP sensor. On the front, it offers a 32MP selfie camera. It runs on XOS Cheeta UI based on Android 9 Pie.

Infinix has a reputation for introducing some good budget phones in the Indian market. By giving premium features at an affordable rate it aims to connect with more customers in the budget and mid-range segment.
