There is still a month remaining for the launch of the next-gen Pixels i.e. the Google Pixel 3 & the Pixel 3 XL– two of the most anticipated devices for this year and we already have witnessed tons of leaks about the same including the brand itself teasing the launch of its upcoming flagships. The latest teaser on the official site hints at the pixel lineup may bear three colour variations.
The latest teaser on Google’s Japanese site reveals the design outline of the upcoming Pixels tagged “Coming Soon”. In total, there are three images with different colour profiles, showcasing a rectangular Google device with G logo on its back and a common white frame with an inner coloured frame which can be seen tilting back and forth to left and right. Moreover, the top part of the frame is slightly darker than the rest of the body, maintaining a contrast just like the glass top on the Pixel 2 and 2 XL.
As far as the colours are concerned, the first image shows off a grey top on a white body sporting a neon Green coloured inner frame which suggests the colour of the power button on the upcoming Pixel.
The next image comprises of a black shade and dark grey bottom and sports a greyish inner frame hinting at a combination reminiscent to that of black Pixel 2 XL.
Furthermore, the third and the last image reveals a turquoise body with a darker mint shade at the top following same internal accent as the white variant. The same colour schemes are also evident in the confetti falling down the screen, having variations of black, orange, mint and blue.
Looking at the last two generations, Google has offered the Pixel in Really Blue colour as the third option followed by Kinda Blue on the Pixel 2. Although any such colour is yet to be known, as per the current leaks, it can be said that the upcoming Pixel lineup will have a similar design language with a different coloured power button contrasting the overall colour factor.
Google is all set to launch the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL in its “Made By Google” event on 9 October at 11 AM (8:30 PM IST). Let us wait for further leaks and announcements. Till then, stay tuned.
Nokia 5.1 Plus to be Launched on September 24, To be Flipkart exclusive
HMD Global announced the Nokia 6.1 Plus and the Nokia 5.1 Plus last month in the Indian market. However the company didn’t reveal the price of the Nokia 5.1 Plus. The teaser also reveals that the device will be launch on September 24 at 2:00 PM IST, where it will be revealing the pricing information.
It is also to be noted that the teaser reveals the hashtag #GameOn, which was previously reported to be that Nokia is working on a gaming phone, so that actually was a teaser for this phone and not a gaming phone.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus features a 5.86 inch display with a resolution of HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 19:9 because of the top notch. Nokia X7/7.1 Plus Renders Appear Online. Shows Off a Familiar Design (Of course, with a Notch!)
HMD Global launched the first notched Nokia phone, the Nokia X6 and followed up with Nokia X5 in China which was rebranded as Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus in overseas respectively. Now the Finnish company is planning to launch the Nokia X7 in China which will be named as Nokia 7.1 Plus in international markets. The first render of the smartphone was today acquired by mysmartprice revealing the design aspects of the upcoming device.
Well, we’ve seen previous rumours that Nokia 7.1 Plus aka Nokia X7 is going to come with no notch, with it’s display panel being leaked without a notch, but with a normal 18:9 display. Now that rumour can be put to rest I guess.
The Nokia X7/7.1 Plus feature a similar design to that of the Nokia 6.1 Plus. It appears to have a glass body with a metal frame sandwiched in between. Though the previous leak suggests the handset will not have a notched display, the official renders show a notched display, a narrow one like the Nokia 6.1 Plus. It hints that the device may feature a FHD+ (2280 x 1080 pixel) resolution with an aspect ratio of 19:9.
In the rear, there is dual camera setup stacked in a vertical arrangement with an LED flash module. It clearly states that the device will features Carl Zeiss optics and a small camera bump. There is a circular fingerprint sensor placed below the cameras and the company logo following it. Also a Android One branding can also be seen clearly. The volume and power button are placed on the right side.
The Nokia 7.1 Plus is rumoured to be powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset likely to be coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Rumours also point to a larger battery with support for fast 18W charging. It is expected to come with the latest Android 9 Pie and be priced around Rs 25,000 approx. Since HMD takes a gap between the launch of the Chinese and International variant. The Nokia 6.1 Plus was launched three months after the Nokia X6. Following this schedule, the Nokia 7.1 Plus may be launched sometime towards the end of this year.
