Galaxy S10 & Huawei P30 Pro may feature Upto 12GB RAM

According to a leak surfacing from Weibo, Samsung‘s & Huawei‘s next smartphone will be launching on March 2019. The leak further reveals that the top variant of the smartphones, Galaxy S10 X flagship and Huawei P30 Pro smartphone will feature a massive 12GB of RAM.

Smartphones with 10GB RAM are already on the market. Xiaomi Black Shark Helo smartphone is the first smartphone to come with 10GB RAM followed by the recently announced Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. Another Chinese smartphone manufacturer Nubia confirmed that its upcoming Red Magic 2 smartphone will sport 10GB of RAM. From past leaks, OPPO Find X was spotted with 10GB RAM on Chinese regulatory agency TENAA. Going by these leaks, it appears that manufacturers like Samsung and Huawei are working on smartphones with 12GB RAM.

As for the leak, it shows the Galaxy S10 will be arriving in March 2019 and will be available in four variants: Galaxy S10 with 4GB RAM, Galaxy S10 Plus with 6GB RAM, Galaxy S10 X with 8GB RAM and Galaxy S10 X 5G with 12GB  RAM. But there is no mention of a 10GB RAM variant of the Galaxy S10. The leak also mentions that Huawei will be launching its P30 series smartphone in response to the Galaxy S10 series. The Huawei P30 is said to come with 8GB RAM while the higher P30 may come with 12GB RAM.

As the name suggests, the Galaxy S10 X 5G will likely come with 5G support while there is no such mention for the Huawei P30 Pro in the above leak. If it does, it may be the first Huawei smartphone with 5G support. Xiaomi has already confirmed that they will announce the Mi Mix 3 5G in the first quarter of 2019.

From previous leaks, the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Plus will feature 5.8 inch display while the S10 X and the S10 X 5G may have 6.44 inch displays. The Galaxy S10 is speculated to come with a side mounted fingerprint sensor while the other models are expected to come with in-screen fingerprint sensor. The S10 Plus, S10 X and S10 5G may have dual camera setup on the front. The Galaxy S10 series will ship with Android 9 Pie on board.

Motorola One Vision Passes through FCC, Sports Exynos 9610 & 3,500 mAh battery!

Motorola One Vision, the upcoming Android One smartphone from Motorola got certified by FCC today. The certification has revealed an important aspect regarding the device, the battery capacity.

The device bears the model number XT 1970-1. According to FCC, the Motorola One Vision will have a 3,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charge support. There are rumors that the Motorola One Vision could be launched as Motorola P40 in China. 

Reports suggest that the handset will feature Samsung’s Exynos 9610 which is an octa-core processor made in 10 nm process. It comes with Mali-G72 GPU. Three variants of the Motorola One Vision are expected.

The base model will have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, the mid model will feature 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage while the higher variant will have 4 GB RAM and a whopping 128 GB of internal storage. There are rumors suggesting the existence of a 6 GB RAM model too.

From the leaked CAD renders, a 360-degree video has been made which helps to get a better understanding regarding the design language used by the brand in the handset. Take a look at the video below.

Dual rear camera setup is expected on the handset with the primary sensor being a 48 MP lens. The details regarding the secondary sensor are not known so far. The dual rear cameras are vertically stacked. Two camera features namely Video 3D HDR and Long Exposure are under the works by the brand.

The display size is expected to be 6.2-inch with a punch hole camera.  The Motorola One Vision measures 160.1 x 71.2 x 8.7mm. The device will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Dolby audio support is rumored on the handset. In terms of pricing, the handset is expected to fall under the Rs.30,000 price bracket. Stay tuned for further updates.

Huawei P30 Pro & P30 Teased in New Renders!

With less than a week left for the official unveiling of the Huawei P30 flagship series, the company has shared several images of the upcoming phone as it teased its launch offers on the official website. The Huawei P30 series includes the Huawei P30 as well as the Huawei P30 Pro. It is also expected to launch a smaller variant called Huawei P30 Lite alongside them.

The pre-booking offers for Europe have now been revealed. The offers include a free Sonos One worth €229 with the P30 and a Sonos One plus a wireless charger worth €288 with the P30 Pro. The offers are valid from the pre-orders starting March 26 till April 30.

The Chinese manufacturer also confirmed the P30 Pro to sport Leica quad camera setup  of 40MP main + 20MP Ultra Wide + 8MP Telephoto + TOF while offering a triple Leica camera setup on the P30 consisting of 40MP main + 20MP Ultra Wide + 8MP Telephoto configuration. On the front both the smartphones will offer a 32MP camera for selfies and video calling.

The P30 will feature a 6.1 inch OLED display while the P30 Pro will have a 6.47 inch OLED display. Both of these have FHD+ resolution, HDR support and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will be powered by the company’s own Kirin 980 chipset paired it 6GB RAM on the P30 and 8GB RAM n the P30 Pro. We have to wait for the official launch to confirm about the remaining specs.

As for the pricing, the Huawei P30 is expected to be priced around 749 Euros (Rs 59,000) for the 6GB variant while the P30 Pro is said be priced around 999 Euros (Rs 78000) for the 8GB RAM variant. The launch event is scheduled for March 26 where the final details will be revealed. Till then, keep tuned.

POCO F1 Lite Spotted in Geekbench. Comes with SD660 (orSD636)

Xiaomi‘s sub-brand POCO launched the Poco F1 last year in August and was a massive success ranking in million of sales. The Poco F2 was spotted a few months back but that turned out to be fake. Now, new reports indicate the Chinese manufacturer could launch a new budget friendly smartphone in the Pocophone line-up called the Poco F1 Lite.

The Pocophone F1 Lite was spotted in benchmarking site GeekBench. The website revealed the smartphone to be powered by a Snapdragon 660 paired with 4GB RAM. It runs on the latest Android 9 Pie with likely MIUI on top. On the performance front, the Poco F1 managed to score 1341 and 4830 points on the single and multi-core test.

However, the scores don’t look impressive as it falls short of the Nokia 7 Plus or Mi A2 which is powered by the same chipset. It looks more or

From another report, an unknown Xiaomi device with codename URANUS appeared on GeekBench database. Since, it has the same specifications, it is speculated that the Uranus is the Poco F1 Lite. Very few information is available about the Poco F1 Lite at this moment but it looks like it will be placed in the mid-range segment. Competition will be fierce as the recently launched Redmi Note 7 Pro and Samsung M30 provides some impressive specs.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 48MP primary rear camera which captures impressive details because of its large sensor. On the other hand, the Samsung M30 provides a triple camera setup along with an AMOLED display on front. It will be hard for the Poco F1 Lite to outshine these competitors. That being said, the Poco F1 has a generated a good fan following providing specs like SD 855 and 6GB RAM at an affordable cost.

As of now, the company hasn’t released any official launch dates but it should be around the corner based on these appearances.
