Blackshark, a Xiaomi sub-brand which focuses on gaming has been coming to India. Back in march they have started their process to launch the brand here. They had also announced that their launch of first phone would be announced later. But there were no information on the same. The brand is headed in India by David Li, VP of Black Shark Global.
He hadn’t disclosed anything with the press till date and there are indications which show that their India launching is near. The BIS certification of the phone show that the phone will be launched within months. Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) – the Indian equivalent of TENAA had certified the Black Shark 2 which is an indication that the product might be launched in the country very soon.
The sub-brand Black Shark announced their first phone back in 2018 in China. Later in November those phone entered the UK & European markets. Later, Xiaomi at the launch of the Redmi Note 7 in India revealed that they will soon bring the gaming-focused Black Shark brand to India. So the debut of Black Shark gaming phones are sure to come to the country. The Black Shark 2 could just be the very first phone here in India
Black Shark 2 was announced back in March 2019 with very decent specifications. It spots a 6.39-inch OLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor which is made by Samsung complete with a pressure-sensitive system which enables users to map the buttons located on the corners of the screen. Users can trigger them by pressing harder on that part of the screen. Well they have optimized the screen for better color accuracy, decreasing screen flicker at low brightness, and lowering touch latency to 43.5ms.
The phone spots the flagship Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage for the base variant and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage for the top variant. The device is packed by a 4000 mAh battery which supports upto 27W fast charging.
