Smartphone maker Apple will be launching three new  iPhones this year. Yesterday render of the significantly low priced Apple iPhone SE (2018) were released by accessories maker Olixar and posted on Mobile Fun’s website. Today more details about the smartphone has surfaced.

According to several accessories maker who are exhibiting their wares at Japan IT Week Spring Mobile Solutions Expo, the company hasn’t started production of the iPhone SE (2018) or the iPhone SE 2 which indicates we won’t be seeing the device until Q2 2018.

Previous rumours and renders seemed to be pretty sure the device will feature the TrueDepth Camera, a top notch, an edge-to-edge display and Face ID but te report claims the Apple is still yet to decide whether to include these features or not. Apple can take design inspiration from the Apple iPhone 5S or just include a 6 inch display. Whatever it may be, the iPhone SE 2 will likely to feature a glass back to support Wireless charging feature.

One the glass manufacturers claims that Apple will pick from three different types of glass for the smartphone. The device will have a physical cutout instead of using an ink mask. There also seemed to be no cutout for Touch ID which hints to the Face ID feature. An image from Chinese media platform Weibo showing such a display panel was reported by Ben Geskin last week.

The lastest leak from Oxilar also showed real-life image of the finished screen protector product.  From other rumours, the iPhone SE 2 will feature upgraded internals, similar to the iPhone 7 like the A10 Fusion chipset. However we are not sure if it will come with feature like dual cameras, 3D touch or an 3.5 mm headphone jack.

According to the rumours, the iPhone SE 2 will be unveiled this year in September alongside the Apple iPhone Xs, Apple iPhone Xs Plus and Apple iPhone 9.
