Apple iPhone 11/iPhone XI First Ever Renders Leaked, Comes With Triple Rear Cameras

Apple will unveil its flagship devices later in September this year but it looks like leaks have started emerging too early. This year’s iPhone lineup will be a major overhaul in terms of design and the performance since the S versions of the previous generation have already hit the market.

Today, popular tipster Onleaks in collaboration with Digit have shared the first ever renders of the upcoming flagship device. If the renders turn out to be true, the Cupertino smartphone giant -will feature triple camera sensors on the rear side of the handset.

The renders show a square camera unit in which the cameras are arranged in a non-linear fashion. There are vertically stacked dual camera sensors like the one we had seen on the iPhone Xs. In addition to it, there is a third camera sensor which is placed in between the aforementioned two camera units. The LED flash is mounted above the third camera.

The source has claimed that these designs are still in Engineering Validation Test (EVT) stage and there are chances for these to vary from the actual design of the handsets. It totally depends on the brand’s decision to stick with this design or come up with a better one. We expect the brand to release successors for the newly launched iPhone XR, XS and XS Max. It seems like the triple camera setup will be seen on the high-end model, the Apple iPhone XI.

Moreover, it is rumoured that the brand will adopt 3D ToF technology on these newer iPhones. The 3D sensors will be supplied by Sony and they are planning to increase the production of these sensors. The primary purpose of this third lens will be to achieve better object focusing capabilities and to create 3D models. If the scenario is dark, it will make use of laser pulses to stimulate the model. Apple is already ahead in making use of AR technology in an effective way and this would help them level up their game.

As far as what is visible from the renders, the rear of the handset will be made of glass. There are speculations that Apple will stick to the notch in this generation of iPhones too. We’ll have to wait to witness more leaks regarding these upcoming iPhones. Till then, stay tuned for further updates.
