Samsung might be working on a Gaming Phone!
Gaming smartphones are on the rise with more and more manufacturers developing their own gaming smartphone. The latest company to join this list is Samsung, who is reported to have already started working on its gaming smartphone which will be directly competing against the ones present in the market. The source comes from an insider according to whom the company will make the device as par with the latest standards.
There is currently very less information available about the smartphone, but it is speculated that recently leaked Galaxy A series phone is none other than this one. If this is true, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 64GB, 128GB and 256GB internal storage.
The South Korean electronics giant is said to avoid using LED lights on the back of the device and instead use a more generic design like the Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A9. It is also rumoured to come with a tall Infinity display with a glass and aluminium body alongside.
Gaming smartphones usually come with a cooling system and this upcoming handset will no different. Samsung has already showcased their Water Carbon cooling system in the Galaxy Note 9. As for the launch date, the Samsung gaming smartphone is expected to be unveiled in November.
The company is also stated to bring a new display technology that will be a solution to the notched displays. Twitter user Ice Universe spotted Samsung announcing a new AMOLED display technology during its OLED Forum conference in China. The display will include a fingerprint scanner, sound, haptics and under panel sensor (UPS) which eliminating the need of a notch.
Huawei is developing its own gaming centric device under Huawei brand (they already have one under Honor, Honor Play). Samsung gaming phone will be competing against the likes of Xiaomi Black Shark 2, ASUS ROG phone and Nubia Red Magic.
