Apple is going to unveil three new iPhones this year in September and we have already witnessed tons of leaks regarding the same, ahead of the launch. Initially, we saw dummy models of all the three new iPhones detailed in a video followed by the case renders of the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone. Now, a new image has surfaced online which showcases the same Apple iPhone X (6.1-inch).
The above image goes neck to neck with the previously leaked Case Render. It reveals the partial back of the black coloured Apple iPhone X (2018) having a 6.1-inch LCD display. The device seems o be constructed out the glass with a glossy finish at the back, similar to what we saw with the Jet Black edition of the iPhone 7.
The device has got a single camera lens at the back with an LED flash and Apple’s logo with silver finish. The image also reveals the traditional rounded corners and the volume rockers are present on the left edge.
According to rumours and reports, Apple will be launching three different iPhones this time including the 6.1-inch LCD display variant, a 5.8-inch iPhone X successor, and another 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus variant. This LCD iPhone discussed above will be the cheapest of all, while the latter two will be priced higher and come with OLED displays that are reported to be sourced from LG instead of Samsung to reduce the company’s dependency on Samsung.
As per the previous leaks, all the three new iPhones will inherit the Notch having traditional IR based Face ID and gesture-based navigation system from the previous iPhone X. Also, given that there needs to be a display controller below the display, the LCD iPhone will have slightly thicker bezels than the OLED models as its easy to curve the display inside on OLED compared to LCD. Interestingly, we may also see dual-SIM functionality in the new iPhones which hasn’t been a reality yet.
Despite all the leaks, let us wait for the official launch to reveal the exact information about the device. Till then, stay tuned.
