Chinese smartphone maker 10.or (Tenor) entered the Indian smartphone industry by launching the 10.or G, 10.or E, and 10.or D. All the three devices offered the value for money factor. It appears like the brand is ready to launch a successor for the 10.or G named 10.or G2.
The device has passed through online benchmarking website Geekbench which revealed the key specifications of the device. According to the specifications listed on Geekbench, the 10.or G2 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 chipset which is an octa-core processor clocked at 1.61 GHz. It will be coupled with a whopping 6 GB of RAM. We expect that there will be variants with 3 or 4 GB of RAM.
Other information like the screen size and battery capacity are not known yet. Out of the box, the device will run Android 8.1 Oreo which is a let down as most of the smartphones launching nowadays feature Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. On the single core test, the device managed to score a decent 1329 and 4788 points in the multi-core tests.
The 10.or G2 is definitely an upgrade mainly in the performance segment as the predecessor had a Snapdragon 626 chipset. The storage variants offered in the 10.or G was 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage while the 10.or G2 has 6 GB RAM. We expect at least 64/128 GB of internal storage on the 10.or G2.
In terms of camera, the 10.or G packed dual 13 MP rear cameras. Hence, a similar camera configuration can be expected on the 10.or G2. Aggressive pricing is expected for the device as the budget segment is saturated with devices offering high value for money by superior specifications. We’ll get to know more about the device once other leaks surface online or when the company launches the device in the market. Till then, stay tuned for updates.
